I enjoy this location a lot. They do a great job of taking care of their guests while making sure they get all the attention and caring they need!
Local QC Family owned business.
Putting my mom in a home wasn’t easy. She’d just lost my dad, and I work long hours—I needed to know she was somewhere safe, where she’d be cared for, not just looked after. A Caring Manor was exactly that. They gave her space to grieve but never left her alone. Private room when she needed quiet, animals and visitors when she wanted company. The staff understood loss—they didn’t rush it, just supported her. We were only there 7 months, but I’ll never forget their kindness. They took care of my mother like family. That’s rare. And it meant everything.
Do not bring your family members here. The owner lied to me multiple times about several things. The honor and the staff refused to give my father his pain medications as directed by the hospice doctor. He was in so much pain that he actually contemplated suicide which is nothing my father would ever do. Once my father became unresponsive I did not get a phone call. I found out when I arrived Monday morning. After that they gave him his medications and then some because his, the master bedroom suite, was on the other side of the house of the other bedrooms the kitchen in the living room. The staff did not want to be bothered with my dad flailing in getting half out of his bed so they made sure to give him his medications so they didn't have to check on him. Also when my brother visited he found that my father's drinking cup had find me stuff in it. I said the owner multiple times to stay with my father at night and was told no that I bothered the staff which turned out to be a lie. I was lucky enough to be allowed to stay the night with him tonight he passed but was told that I was not allowed to go to sleep while I was there. This is a terrible place please please do not take your family members here
Our experience has been absolutely excellent. there is A Caring Manor 1 and A Caring Manor 2 and our loved one is in A Caring Manor 1. The friendliness of the staff members is just off the chart, the value is great and the care services are perfect. They do have a few activities for the residents to participate in. The care givers are amazing, one in particular does my moms nails, hair and just makes her feel very pretty. They have been very good to our loved one.
A Caring Manor II was very comfortable looking and homey. The family lives on one side. It was raining that day, so the home had an odor. They also had a leak in one of the bedrooms, but overall it looked like it would be a nice place. The person during the tour was very good. The dining area looked very clean, but we did not eat there. They had animals in the backyard and there seemed to be enough parking.
I like the care at this community. My mother in law is happy and likes everything here at the community. The menu is nice and she seems to be pleased. We like that she is active with the other residents. This community has animals and that does make her happy to be able to be around for fun. We would recommend this community for the care of a loved one for a positive place to call home.
Mom was in A Caring Manor II for 11 days. She was in a private room with a bathroom outside the room because she didn’t want to have a roommate. The semi-private rooms have the bathroom right in there. There are only 4 people there, so it’s very small. Some of the residents are in wheelchairs. The hallways were fine and large enough. The people who provided care were very friendly and hospitable.
