They let My Aunt perish. Lots of inconsistency and no professionalism. That Chuck individual seemed like He was hiding something.
Overall we are happy with this arrangement. Peter is experienced and addresses issues promptly. There is a frequent turnover of staff and most staffers don't speak English very well, which becomes a burden, but everyone is friendly and caring.
This is our first choice. My father-in-law is German and the idea of some European meals being prepared was a plus. Very knowledgeable and the only issue we had was it didn't seem possible to use his electric scooter in the house. He can't move a wheelchair with his arm, so the scooter is the only way he can get around on his own.
My mom has been here a short time and has had one trip to the hospital. Lidia the owner and the care givers are awsome! This is our 3rd home and our lastI they take excellent care of my mom and are sincere about careing about each person. My mom can be a hand full at times but it just means they do even more for her. Wish I had found it sooner.
Mom has been in this care facility 3 1/2 months. It has a family atmosphere. Lidia really cares for her residents. She had questions for Mom's cardiologist re: care & meds. The Dr. said that is the 1st caregiver he has ever had ask questions of him. Mom has had to go to ER 2 or 3 times and if Lidia doesn't take her to the hospital she goes anyway.
Mom's been at Tender Touch for about a month now. My dad selected this facility. It's clean. There are maybe six people there. It's a husband and wife that run it and they also live there.
Ronald Homecare has large individual rooms with a bathroom. They have very nice people that work there. They said they had some activities but they don't. The staff covered everything at my visit but after mother-in-law has been in there a couple of months, it hasn't been that way.
I have been pleased with the care my father is receiving. The staff are very caring and attentive. The administrator is a "hands on administrator" who is frequently at the home.
