This is an outstanding well managed rehab rehabilitation center. Over a three year. my wife has had three post hospitalization rehab centers. Advanced healthcare of Glendale is by far the best institution we have experienced. The facility itself is clean with a comfortable inviting feel. Patients are encouraged to dine in the outstanding dining room. The quality of the food is excellent. Private rooms with large bathrooms offer a small refrigerator. We cannot say enough about the physical and occupational therapy staff. They are kind and compassionate. My wife and I enjoyed sitting by the…

Should the need ever arise we would not hesitate to return to this outstanding facility.
I am very impressed with the building and the staff. Very nice building for rehabilitation, very clean and smelled clean. From the administrator to all the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly they all really care about the patients and their staff. Also when entering into this rehabilitation it is like home feeling like you’re going to someone’s nice mansion. I even saw an empty room for the patients and the bed was comfortable. The rooms were cleaned and spotless. Thank you Advanced Healthcare Of Glendale for your excellent services and excellent staff. To add on I was happy to…

To add on I was happy to see patients in physical therapy and have other therapy services, to get better. The Therapy team really cares for there patients and are go above and beyond. Nurses and CNA at this rehabilitation also contribute to excellent care and outcomes, they are always kind and I can tell they are happy to be at work.
I can't say enough good things about this facility. My 85yr old mother had a cardiac incident and we had her placed in Advance Health care (Glendale) faciity for rehab after having stents applied. This facility and it's staff are the Gold Standard when it comes to attending to the needs of the elderly with integrity and full dignity. They got our mother back up and walking and working out in their awesome gym. This facility provided first class accomodations along with AAA++++ care for our mother. They handled all family members that came to visit with the finest customer service and always greeted us with a smile and a bright attitude. I tip my hat to culture they have built and promote within this facility. Everyone from transport , to the CNAs, the kitchen staff, elderly care staff, and cleaning team are excellent and their attention to detail is beyond compare. Also, the senior placement staff is excellent as well. I can go on, and on. I do hope this review reaches someone that is in the same situation we were in dealing with the uncertainty of where their loved one will go after leaving the hospital. Please make sure you start with Advance Health Care as no one else will come close.
DANGER!!! This facility, once regarded as the top choice in the Valley, now poses a serious risk to every patient. Staff dismissed repeated family complaints that their loved one wasn't right, refused to call 911, and by the time EMS arrived--summoned by the family--the patient's blood sugar had plummeted to a critical level in the 20s. Staff then withheld the EMS report because the family wouldn't sign an AMA form, despite the patient facing death within hours without that intervention. EMS responders noted they visit this place daily and urged filing complaints, with ongoing reports pending against the facility and the nursing board for nurses who endangered the patient via insulin overdose or alleged similar error. If you value your loved ones' lives, steer clear--YouTube reviews include audio of staff interactions and EMS warnings to families.
I stayed here about 18 months ago. It was an extremely positive experience. Food, nursing, physical therapy, etc were excellent. Everyone including the Administrator, dietitian, etc. came by to introduce themselves. Food staff went the extra mile with requests and substitutions. Again, food was great as was the rest of the staff.
The facility may be lovely, but there is A LOT of work that needs to be done to make this place worthy of a 4+ rating. Although some workers are very kind and caring, they do not have enough staff - 2 care takers per 18 patients during the day and 1 per 18 at night. After speaking with the administrator he didn't even know when and how many workers were even there. Regardless of whether this stay is during the holidays. A large organization that promotes itself as being so great they should make arrangements for shortages. Workers become impatient and try to rush patients around, injuring them in the process. Some patients injure themselves waiting to be cared for. If you use this facility, I would recommend daily oversight and not trust them to even "know" your family member. We were not alerted of problems with high heart rates, high blood pressure, incidents of patient injury, etc. Not a safe place.
Night shift nurse stiffed her uber driver over $1.79 tip that's just in poor taste. I will refuse to deliver orders here and I recommend my colleagues to do the same 12-21-25 @ about 8:50pm I too work in healthcare for seniors. And if these are the morals and values of the caretakers, do you really trust them with your loved ones. I definitely wouldn't.
My husband had Parkinson's disease and had a hip replacement and was here several times and I was here once during the pandemic with a hip replacement. My husband compared it to the Hilton! Beautiful building, lovely dining room, delicious food. With his last rehab which was in 2021, this place had no beds so he had to go to Arrowhead and he said it was like going from the Hilton to Motel 6!
