Azalea Assisted Living

We are so glad that we found this beautiful assisted living home, Azalea Assisted Living in south Gilbert for our mother. The staff were wonderful with meeting all of her demands and needs in a timely manner. They were great at communicating with family and directing us to Hospice Care when it was necessary. Our mother celebrated her last birthday in February with family and staff, who called her mom. My wife and I are so thankful that our mother was loved and taken care of with kindness and compassion. We cannot thank Christina and Dorothy and the rest of the staff enough for their committment to our loved one who needed more than we could provide at the time. Azalea Gilbert was the absolute best assisted living home for our mother. Our mother could no longer walk or care for herself and needed 24 hour attention. The manager Cristina, always kept our family informed of her condition and medical needs. Mom could be very difficult and demanding. Dorothy and all the staff treated her with respect and caring. They catered to her needs medically, physically and emotionally with loving care and compassion. Their loving care for our mother provided emotional support to all of us, her family, and we were comforted knowing our mother was well taken care of during her final days. Dorothy and the staff became an extension of her family and we will always love them for their kindness and care of our dear mother.

A friend recommended Azalea in Gilbert when we needed to move our mom to assisted living. They took such wonderful care of her father, and we can attest to what an amazing care facility this is as we moved our Mom here. Cristina the manager is a NP and was very communicative with us and was quick to act on any health issues that arose. Our mother absolutely adored Dorothy the head care giver who is just the sweetest and they formed a beautiful bond of friendship while she was there. Dorothy was always making my Mom laugh, and made my Mom feel so special and loved even when my Mom was being difficult. All of the caregivers; Dorothy, Hannah, Nadia, Virginia and Heather were so compassionate and very attentive to our Mom's needs and treated her with love, respect, and Kindness always and even called her Mom. The house was always very clean, and they cooked fresh prepared meals daily. They made our Mom and all of us feel like family and it felt like home. They made our Mom's 89th Birthday so special and a big celebration. We are very grateful and blessed to all of them for the loving care they provided our Mom, and can't thank them enough. This is a truly special place that really cares about your loved ones. All of them will always be our family.

The team at Azalea took incredible care of my father with compassion and love. It’s so hard to make the decision to put your loved one into assisted living, but knowing they are in a home with caregivers who want nothing but the best for them put us at ease. Christina and her team are still like family to us, years after my dad passed.

My father was a resident at Azalea and he was cared for as though he was family. The staff is amazing, kind and compassionate. Communication was always above and beyond; we always knew exactly how my dad was doing and if there were any updates, we were made aware immediately. We are so thankful to everyone at Azalea. Our dad’s final years were made peaceful because of all of you.
