Such terrible people answering the phone, get new staff. The lady that answers the phone shouldn’t even be working there with her nasty attitude.

I recommend everyone to look at Brookdale Tempe. Take a tour you will absolutely love the place, people, everything. I was amazed at the facity the things they offer our loved ones. The care they give. You will feel like you dropped your loved one off to family. They have group meetings with us as the family member who had to make that choice for our loved ones. They truly care. [name removed] is amazing.

If you leave your loved one here its best to check on them daily at different times of day they do not watch them closely they will leave the bed soiled put a blanket over it and put your loved one to sleep on the bed. There is not enough staff members and Most staff lack empathy. I did not enjoy the memory of my loved one being at this facility for their end of life journey. I don’t think id recommend it to anyone they’re all about money and booting the client and family out to gain the next client. Very feelingless atmosphere behind the fake kindness. If you want certain things taken care of for your loved ones they just keep tagging on a price and the care is half-[removed]. I really feel bad for all the other residents there. All i say is think twice the kindness and the care they promise you is not the care your loved ones will receive. It’s really sad people can go through life being so heartless and still be okay with them selves every day. My family will not forget it either.

The care team was great. No follow through on the administrative side. The food was unbelievably horrendous

My dad was in Brookdale Tempe. They kicked him out. He is a dementia patient, and they didn't have the staff to take care of someone who has dementia needs during the evening. He was upset, banging walls, and throwing furniture, so they kicked him out. Instead of working with the family, they said they couldn't handle him. It's a nice and beautiful memory care, but I would say it's not for people who have bad dementia or Alzheimer's. The upkeep is nice, and it's a beautiful place. They had someone coming in to play the piano, and they had a little room where they played games. They had a solace room where they had quiet, calming music, and they had a little bassinet with the baby doll in it. I think that was nice. They also offer a nice chef's kitchen that you could bring your family to and make use of the facilities. Of course, we never got to use any of that.
