While visiting family in Green Valley, I had the opportunity to tour Canyon Valley Memory Care Residence—and I’m so glad I did. As a Director at a memory care community in Minnesota, I’m always interested in seeing how other communities approach care and engagement. I had the pleasure of meeting with Yereth and Johanna, and I truly appreciated their professionalism and willingness to take time out of their day to share their approach and insights. The community itself is absolutely immaculate, and more importantly, it’s filled with residents who are clearly happy, engaged, and well cared for. What stood out most to me was their strong focus on life enrichment, particularly their thoughtful use of the Montessori Method to create meaningful, purposeful activities for residents. If you are looking for memory care for a loved one in the Green Valley area, I would highly encourage you to visit Canyon Valley Memory Care Residence. It’s a beautiful community with a dedicated team doing things the right way.
We just loved our experience with Johanna. She was super positive and upbeat and made our time there such a joy. She requested I play piano and clarinet at her Halloween event last October. It was obvious the residents there just loved her and the event was well planned and executed. I would be happy to participate in any future events at this facility. Would highly recommend.
It is a pleasure to see the interaction between residents and staff at Canyon Valley. From the smiling faces and the creative tasks, the atmosphere is filled with love and attention for each and every resident. The excursions and community interaction is commendable. In my opinion Canyon Valley Memory Care is a top-notch institution!

I love coming to this community. You can tell the residents are treated like family. It's a warm atmosphere. Johanna is always coming up with new ideas to entertain and keeping the residents happy.
After having worked in this field in Mass. for over 20 years, I have to say how favorably impressed I am with the Canyon Valley Memory Care Enrichment Spark Program. It is a Program that values the role of elders in a community, assists them to stay active, and promotes interaction with other community members. Residents are respected, treated with dignity and encouraged to actively interact with others. This results in a harmonious atmosphere where both, the young visitors and residents, learn and enjoy from each other.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this memory care facility. From the moment you walk in, you feel a warm, welcoming environment that truly prioritizes the well-being and dignity of its residents. The staff is incredibly compassionate, attentive, and patient, always going above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and cared for. One of the standout aspects is the activities program it is absolutely amazing. There is always something engaging and thoughtfully planned, from music and art to interactive games and social events. The team does a fantastic job of tailoring activities to meet residents where they are, encouraging participation while bringing joy and a sense of purpose to their daily lives.
