People take your photo if caught doing something instead of staff hard to have friends there cause staff allows them to take your picture and turn it into office only thing good was maintence and the drivers.and some security. If I was you I would not go there. Alex who in charge of manor 1 told me once if milo my cat got out by a worker I could not take food out to get him also I have a friend who help me get the cats and get them homes and was told if she came back she would be arrested. Even though she spent over 1.000 the last 4 years. Not a real good christian place. Don.t go there.
Everything about Christian Care is amazing! The staff goes above and beyond. In every way!!! My mom is doing better then she has in years because of the way they make her feel safe and loved. Every employee there is an Angel!!! Because of the employees my “job” of being my moms POA has been a breeze. I CANNOT say enough great things about Christian Care!!
I moved my mom from in May 2022. She’s early stage dementia and I was petrified of a mental decline, which is common with a location change. The OPPOSITE happened, she FLOURISHED!!!! The staff at Christian Care has exceeded my expectations above and beyond on a consistent basis. Whether it’s the daily routine of encouraging my mom to get out of her room for games in the activity room (which she never did at her last home), to the every day warm and fuzzy feeling of love that they make her feel. Last week, the staff was incredible beyond words in getting my mom ready for a visit to WA for the holidays. They made sure she had all warm clothes, meds and shoes needed. They even packed all her favorite Christmas jewelry that she sweetly shared with her granddaughter. Although I know the names of those involved with the trip preparation, I am hesitant to share, as I know for a fact, that every employee there deserves my praise. I am forever grateful.
I MUST WRITE AGAIN..... Here we are, a year and a half later, and I am even more in awe at this place. I thought I was grateful when I wrote the first review, but this place keeps blowing me away with it's professionalism, love and care for my mom. My mom's insurance dropped her doctor and is no longer in network with the "in-home doctor" that used to see her. Not only did I get a call from Heath (management), letting me know, but he offered to help. I truly CANNOT say enough great things about this place. My mom is surrounded by amazing staff, not limited to Elizabeth, the events coordinator and Gigi, her nurse. I am sure everyone in that place is exceptional, I'm embarrassed to only know those names because when my mom visits me in WA state, she can't wait to get back to them. Thank you so much, Christian Manor, for making what would be the hardest job in my life, being my mom's POA from 18 hours away, a breeze. You are all angels!!! Forever grateful, Heather I moved my mom from PA in May. She’s early stage dementia and I was petrified of a mental decline, which is common with a location change. Although I know the names of those involved with the trip preparation, I am hesitant to share, as I know for a fact, that every employee there deserves my praise. I knew even more than before, that she’s treated like gold, when she was ready to return home to Manor 2, leaving a beautiful home filled with her loved ones. Words can NEVER express how grateful I am to the staff at Christian Care for taking such wonderful care of the woman who spent her whole life taking care of me!!!! Sincerely, Heather
The apartments at Christian Care Manors seemed very decent. It wasn't really big, but it definitely had enough room for me. The cost is almost filled up by the government. You would only be paying one third or one fourth of your income, so that's great. It seemed like a nice place and they were taking good care of the place. The building looked very clean. It's not a new building, but it looked very well taken care of. It looked very, very efficient and very doable. They're very good about calling me back. They're very, very responsive to people when we have questions, and then I think once a year what they do is they send out a little application form so they know if you're still interested in doing it. If people don't, then they just assume that they've found a different place or something has happened. I saw a couple of staff and they're very, very helpful. One was mainly in charge of the building and maintenance. The other person was in charge of applications, and both of them were very nice and easy to talk to.
Mom and Dad are moving in they are very excited.
