What a beautiful facility! So clean and well managed. I have recently been looking for an assisted living home for my parents. When I walked into the lobby of Clearwater on Mayo Blvd., in Scottsdale, I knew that this was the one! From the Dining room, to all of the beautiful outdoor sitting areas, along with so many wonderful activities, movie theatre, (with popcorn) and even a delightful high tea room for the seniors. The food was great, had eaten several meals there and was very impressed. But most of all the way my family and I have been treated. Dawn Romayo, who is the executive director,…

Dawn Romayo, who is the executive director, and Nicole Carlson, the sales director were so kind to me and my family. They both were so professional as well as understanding and consistently helpful to all of us. It means a lot when a family is at this juncture in life to make it such a welcome experience and transition. We will be forever grateful. Thank you..💞

This place is amazing and luxury, but the staff is top notch and caring. This is an early review because we had a health disruption as we were about to move in delaying all plans. Alfred, Rose and Nicole have all been outstanding in helping us navigate and pivot. Alfred in particular has spent countless hours aiding, listening and facilitating our move in Knowing I have a team to work with is such a relief in a very tough situation. We aren't even there yet, and I can't recommend it enough. The assisted living unit we are moving our senior to is stunning, quiet and perfect. I always see happy…

I always see happy seniors, music, activities, and amazing energy and smiles from the entire staff and residents every time I"m there. We visited many before selecting, and there's no comparison. Thank you all.

Clearwater Mayo is a beautiful, modern facility with all of the amenities for comfort and safety. The kind, friendly, and welcoming people working and living there make it special. The decision to move my family member to memory care was difficult but the staff made our transition seamless.

Amazing staff, gorgeous facility, excellent food, engaging community, quality entertainment and activities. My mom wouldn't want to live anywhere else!

We had a tour today with Nicole and she answered all of our questions and was very professional.

This is their way clearwater mayo living, keeps the hot line cooking , they don't even used sanitizer, no hairnets , they didn't change gloves very often, no even wash their hands, the water of the hot line is very duty and disgustingly, and smell so bad, because , they drain the hor line water every two weeks, like you see the photos, inside and behind the oven, warmer, stove, grill ,fryer, fridge, all the appliances are completed nasty and they didn't clean appropriately, the kitchen and food is completely manageable for Esther matamoros, the supposed subchef she doesn'teven has culinary studies,, or cook title, she has not Idea how cook, prep food or keep the hot line clean and sanitizer, she doesn't even know the standard food safely requirement, and she didn't have the food safely card or food handlers card. This is the reason way they didn't pass the state and maricopa inspection, ast to take a tour in to the hot line or kitcket and get proof of this, they only has the dining room nice and clean to aparenclean. I do not recommend this place at all to keep you lover's family here. very promising in the beginning 3 years ago but since time it has degradated fast. The managing staff and especially maintenace has gone down down way way down. There is a reason they have gone thru many staffing changes. After 4 managing directors and 4 chefs get fire for the supposed subchef Esther matamoros, this is far from being an epistemic community. There must be an systemic reason, that they just can not figure yet. It will take at least a year or more before there is any improvement.

My dad is not much of an activities guy so I can't speak to that but the staff from the aides and nurses, restaurant staff, maintenance to executive staff have all been fantastic. The facility is always pristine and up to date.

When you first enter Clearwater Mayo Blvd, it feels like you're entering a high-end luxury hotel (see photos), but what really sets Clearwater apart are the people who work there. My father chose Clearwater back in 2022 because he wanted to be near the Mayo Clinic, just down the road, yet in the end, it was Clearwater's caregivers and MedTechs—coupled with with Noble Hospice nurses—who gave him the best quality of life in his final months. I can't thank them enough!
