4.6 · 5 reviewsThe Desert Comfort was a nice home, but it was not what we were looking for or fit my friend's needs as far as I'm concerned. By the time we toured we had already picked a home. Everyone here was friendly and would be a good fit for someone else.
They do pretty much everything very well. They do not have a lot of activities, but then most of the residents there besides my mother would not be able to participate if they did. It is a very nice place, very clean, and well kept. My mother is very well taken care of there.
Among the many assisted living homes I’ve toured, one of Violet’s group homes appealed to the type of care I wanted for my mother. Violet is a warm-hearted individual who will go above and beyond to make sure your loved one is well taken care of. I would recommend Violet’s Elder Care to anyone who is looking for a trust worthy care provider.

Violet's Elder Care is just close to my house. They're like 2 miles away. They only limit the residents to 5 people. I knew that the caretaker themselves wouldn't be overwhelmed and my mother would get the right attention. They were far more than willing than any other places. They take her outside and making sure she fresh air and a good walk. I noticed though that at one point there were too many turnovers.
Violet's Elder Care was one of the several facilities that was presented to me by a person who is a finder of places for elderly care. It was the best facility I had seen after working with this gentleman and looking on my own. I had a very good experience with them. I'm pleased with the staff. They care for my mother who lives there. If I have any questions they're there to help me. They keep her clean. She's happy, content, and peaceful. She's in a good place. She has a room there that she shares with another lady. Their room is clean, neat, organized, and fresh with nice big window. Everything is just good. The facility itself is exceptionally clean. It's very light and airy. The floor is sparkling; I could it eat off the floor which is something I couldn't say about my own house. Their food there is all home cooked. I see them being prepared every time I visit. It was June of last year since I moved her in. It's been over a year and a half and she'll be 96 years old. She's got dementia. She's peaceful there and is well taken care of.
