Removed my father as fast as possible after only 2-3 weeks. In just the first 2 weeks we experienced: 1. The tv, internet, and phones down for several days. Utter silence for residents, medical staff couldn’t make calls or send charting. 2. Water went out at least once. 3. High room turnover: 3 residents passed away in just two weeks. Estancia maybe a better option for hospice situation, but not long term care. 4. Cheap and unnutritious food served. 5. No activities or schedule being upheld as posted. No inter-resident interaction or socialization. **However, the caregivers and direct staff…

**However, the caregivers and direct staff are friendly and loving with the residents** The negatives directly related to our situation were: - All the doors were closed to other residents’ rooms when we toured, but we were assured my father would have friends there and be engaged with other residents. This was a false statement. My father was the only resident who was verbal and/or not 100% bed ridden. -One manager suggested we start ordering my father, who can’t walk without assistance and has dementia, Ubers around town so he could stay engaged outside the home… -Were told he could bring his pet and the yard would be fenced in soon. Later learned it was a false sales statement, there were no plans or materials to fence the yard. - After us giving notice it wasn’t a good fit for our loved one, the management wouldn’t work with us on the move out or finances - and decided to keep over a months rent after our notice, retaining as much money as they legally could, resulting in thousands lost on our part. Emailing with the administrator was brash and unresponsive. - The management is tactful with sales and owns several other care facilities… as well as restaurants. As a service member deploying, I was looking for a care home who would treat me and my loved one like family, especially while I was away. We were sad to have this experience, it seemed after the contract was signed everything fell apart and it felt irresponsible to keep my father there after seeing how the home and incidents were mismanaged. Ultimately, they cared more about turning rooms which were cycling a lot, than the wellbeing of residents and management of the day to day in the facility.

My fiancé, my fiancé broke her hip. She’s living there now seems to be pretty happy surrounded by other gals her age. staff is super supportive very nice gated community The grounds in the house are spotless. Nice backyard for the girls too. Have watermelon and Chat.

I am writing this one-star review based on my grandmother’s ongoing experience as a resident at this assisted living facility. My grandmother had a fall and had to call 911 herself because the emergency alert system was left unplugged and non-functional. She spent a considerable amount of time on the floor calling for help. If her phone had not been accessible we don’t know how long she would have been left there. One evening, she was speaking with one of the caregivers about a concern that she was having with her heart. She was able to calmly explain what was going on, and the caregiver…

She was able to calmly explain what was going on, and the caregiver replied with “what do you want me to do about it?” She had to direct the calling of 911 to get the help that she needed. Staff have administered her medications without knowing what the medications were or who had prescribed them. On other occasions they have gone days without administering her medication‘s at all. She has gone multiple days without receiving a bath or proper hygiene assistance, leaving her in a dirty and uncomfortable state. The facility itself is poorly maintained: floors are not regularly swept or mopped, and there is a persistent strong odor of urine throughout the building. After hours, caregivers frequently sit in common areas watching television at high volume while having visitors, which disturbs residents and prevents them from resting. When family members raised these serious concerns with the owner, he stated directly that he is “running a business,” and his approach to my grandmother’s care reflects that this is treated primarily as a profit-driven operation rather than a place focused on resident well-being. These repeated instances of inadequate supervision, poor hygiene practices, facility uncleanliness, disruptive behavior by staff, and apparent lack of priority on resident safety and dignity demonstrate a pattern of neglect that is unacceptable in any assisted living setting. I strongly recommend that families carefully consider other options and visit frequently if a loved one is placed here.

This facility, Estancia Assisted Living (EAL), was very comforting for my mother's journey. The staff were all extremely caring, loving and professional. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone wanting to feel comfortable about the 24hr care needed by a loved one.

My Mother was a recent guest at Estancia for six months. I found management and staff very kind and compassionate. They worked hard to fulfil the care and wishes of not only Mother but our entire family. They complied with all direction from Mother’s nurses and doctors. Environment was always pleasant and clean. I would highly recommend this facility.

My dad stayed at Estancia for a while right up to his passing. I was worried about finding the right place for him, but this place was beyond amazing! My dad had his own private room & was in the house with 2 other residents. I don't live far, so we dropped by all the time. The staff is extremely patient & caring. My dad had trouble eating, so they would make his preferred meals & even feed him. They trimmed his eyebrows & nails without us even asking! They have answered our frequent phone calls & texts very promptly & didn't mind us coming over all the time. I talked to the other residents on multiple occasions & they were very happy there & well taken care of. Next time there is a family member that needs this type of care, I will not even look at any other places. [removed]

We're having a few thing that they are working on. The meals they are giving are not providing real proteins and I do not see much veggies. They eat pizza and hot dogs to often. I have made several suggestions like playing some cards with different style, diabetic meal options, and exercises. The owner made copies so I hope they incorporate that as an activity. I also noticed a caregiver was there for a full 24 hours. It seems like they need more training and understanding to stay nearby the residents. They seem to be very new to this environment. On the tour I saw a very nice, clean and, open home. Everything is very nice and the people are too.
