4.4 · 16 reviewsI would say it is a great place for someone that needs care. The reason I picked this facility was the overall appearance, the general friendliness of staff and the location, close to where I live.
My mother suffered with Alzheimer’s and we moved her in during the pandemic [date removed]. We could only have door visits but it was very clear to us that my mother was happy as she was always hugging [name removed]. My mother was physically very fit and could be quite challenging but the staff was great with her. I loved that I could communicate with [name removed] at any given time and especially liked that there was a low staff turnover.
The staff is very caring, and the home is bright and clean.

Overall we have had a good experience with the Family Touch community, the cleanliness of the place is good. When it came to the meals and dining service our loved one said everything was great. The activities were somewhat limited but they did their best for our loved one
Everybody was very sincere, hardworking, and thoughtful of the residents they are caring for. The staff are good to work with and they are quick to respond to questions or concerns. There are nine bedrooms, and some rooms may have double occupancy. I believe there are 4 staff available to assist the residents. The community is very clean and nice. The food was very good and at making an effort to accommodate the resident's requests. They kept busy making the food for the residents as well.
I am delighted with Family Touch. my loved one looks cheerful and well cared for; his hygiene and appearance has been upkept. [name removed] and [name removed] have done a great job with care services and have helped to reduce some health concerns. he seems to be receiving the attention and care he needs, they seem to be working with him. Family Touch is very accommodating during visits, they are willing to allow residents to go on outings with their families. this community was the best option out of the others we toured.
We chose Family Touch at the time because it has the most lovely outdoor environment with beautiful flowers, trees, and wonderful large covered porch areas. It is a very warm environment and I thought that would be the best fit for my sister. The great room and kitchen area is a nice gathering area if the residents want to socialize. she did not enjoy the food, there is not a lot of variety on the menu. I would recommend to someone who is not a picky eater.
We chose Family Touch because of the environment. it is very homey and friendly and we thought it would be a good fit for our loved one. They are very good with communication to families. It is well decorated and does not have a group home feeling that so many others have, it's just a very inviting atmosphere. I would highly recommend them.
