My siblings and I feel so lucky that we found the Ridges. Our mom & dad moved into the (Garden) Ridges over a year ago. From the moment they arrived the staff could not have been kinder and more welcoming. In addition to being such a beautiful property, it is run with warmth and efficiency. We have never worried for a moment about our parent's quality of care or safety. The staff are stellar - George, Julia, Melissa and Carrie have continually gone out of their way to communicate and make adjustments to our parents care as needed. Additionally, housekeeping, maintenance and the front desk…

The staff are stellar - George, Julia, Melissa and Carrie have continually gone out of their way to communicate and make adjustments to our parents care as needed. Additionally, housekeeping, maintenance and the front desk staff are positive, helpful and kind. When dad passed away last August we were worried about mom being on her own. However, the compassion & attention from the staff and management was truly heartwarming and has made the adjustment much smoother than we could have imagined. The Ridges provides wonderful restaurant style dining, an ever-changing menu, tons of activities, outings and opportunities to socialize. Throughout the year it is always decorated so festively for the various holidays. I cannot recommend the Ridges enough.

Garden Ridge has open space for its residents to walk around and is located within walking distance of many local amenities. They also provide numerous activities that engage all residents. Their staff is very friendly and always willing to help.

Care services - not able to judge as she is living independent. The one time she needed help was not a good situation. The meals are not good right now, short staff at times creates problems. Does not participate in activities and the value is overpriced. We had problems right from the start with her apartment not being ready. Management, while very nice people, doesn't seem to know how to manage especially conflict. The food situation has gotten worse. Some meals have not been edible. My mom keeps food in her apartment so she has something to eat when the menu is bad...yet she still pays for…

Overall a very nice community. People are down to earth. Don't let the dated décor get in the way. Give this community a look and see. Grounds are beautiful and they allow you to expand and fence your patio for dogs. Other than the dated décor, the staff was great, and the grounds were beautiful. Unfortunately, my mother was not able to completely enjoy being there due to becoming very I'll with cancer and passing away. I would, however, recommend this senior living. You just gave to get past the dated décor. They were at the time making some updates and hopefully have made it look a bit more attractive. Overall a very nice community. People are down to earth. I would recommend the Independent Living portion of the community. We have not had any issues but we also have not been to the other sites. For value this is by far the best. My wife's mother is happy.

My favorite asset. It's like living at a resort. The grounds are beautiful and kept up immaculately. There are 4 beautiful courtyards. Apartments with patios or balconies on or looking out on courtyards. Just beautiful! Needs improvement I would say the food maybe. It's always good but could have more variety.

It wasn't the place for my mom & we had to move her. The food they have to learn to cater to food allergies they wouldn't even budge. One nurse was awesome the rest it was just a job and shouldn't be taking care of the elderly.

I would say it is a nice place to live, staff needs to lusten more to the residents, install automatic doors that lead to other areas and outside and work on better menus. Food is fair at best.
