My sibling lived at Joyful Haven for a few years and was cared for by their loving staff. The facility is clean and homey, with secure door locks to keep residents safe. I was happy with the professional and personal relationships with my sibling and me. It is reasonably priced too! Joy, the owner, is personable, loving, and an admirable businesswoman.
Compassionate caregivers with on the clock care for the residents. Place is clean and well maintained.
I have been working as a home care registered nurse for over 30 years. I have visited multiple patients in many Assisted Living residences and have experienced all kinds of caregivers and AL owners. When I found this place for my sister, I was shocked at how kind and caring the caregivers were, I thought it too good to be true. The owner Joy lives on site and provides exceptional care, herself. The meals are fresh, delicious and healthy. My sister lived in this comfortable, clean, peaceful environment for almost a year, until her disease took her. She was so well cared for. I can't even describe how grateful I am to them. Thank you, Joy!! 🩷🩷😘😘. Millie Davis.
If I could give 20 stars, that is what post for Joyful Haven. My mom has been there for most of this year and I cannot tell you how happy she is. I can always tell when I walk in the door. She has been well taken care of. Her needs are assessed throughout the day. She is never ignored. Her skin is healthy. She is wheelchair bound and non verbal. Everybody that walks and talks to her. The caregiver, Joy, Always takes a moment when she walks in to smile and to grab her hand, there is no anxiety in the house. It is very clean. I’m very happy for my mom because she is happy.
Joyful Haven is a great place for anyone that needs long term care for loved ones. It’s clean and has good food options and meals for the residents. The staff is amazing with the residents and they truly care for each person. I would highly recommend them for a care facility.
We got to tour Joyful Haven Assisted Living Home LLC with a lady that had been a caretaker there for a long time, plus the lady that ran it. And they were very informative, very friendly, and answered all of our questions. The facility seemed a little small for my mom to get around in a wheelchair, but the place for her to take a shower was definitely going to be safe and there was enough room. There was a lot of construction going on at the time, so I can't really refer to the outdoor space because there was so much construction. It was located fairly close to a hospital, but not anything else.
The rooms are individual and very comfortable.Open area for exercise available.Good companionship and fully supported. The staff are amazing and good vibes.
I have been the POA for a resident there for about four years. She requires directed care for ADL and has pronounced dementia. I never have to worry that she will be taken care of perfectly when I am out of town or out of the country. The entire home is kept spotlessly clean, the residents are fed wonderful meals that meet their needs, and I consider the staff to be good friends of both mine and the resident. I am always welcome to pop in at a moment's notice and am promptly informed of any problem(s) with the resident. Some activities are provided, but my friend does not have the eyesight or mental abilities to participate. For very "homelike" care, I highly recommend this facility.
