They said my brother is too sick to be in assisted living - my brother can walk on his walker and ride his scooter - he showers alone and does his bed. Goes alone to Walmart. He just needs a reminder to take meds and someone to do his laundry sometimes. They made a decision without speaking with him. I called another assisted living and they took him right in. Wonderful nice people, Private chef, super clean.

I truly cannot speak highly enough about this community. My mother means everything to our family, and from the directors to the caregivers to every staff member we have encountered, she has been met with genuine warmth, respect, and compassion. Each person has taken the time to know her as an individual, not just a resident, and to care for her in a way that reflects dignity, patience, and sincere kindness. It is evident that she is not treated as a task to complete, but as a valued member of their community. After a very difficult experience at her previous assisted living facility, this community has truly restored my faith and renewed my hope in humanity—particularly in the way we care for and support our elderly parent(s). The professionalism, empathy, and attentiveness demonstrated here have made an immeasurable difference for both my mother and our family. We are deeply grateful to have found a place that truly honors and respects those entrusted to their care.

I'M SO BLESSED TO LIVE AT KIVEL. The staff is great and the property is clean and well managed.

My dad was well known within this community. He lived there several years in the independent living area. When he returned he was welcomed with open arms. During COVID, we weren't able to see him, so we would do Skype sessions, unfortunately his condition declined because of it. When we were able to see him again, we made sure to improve his physical condition. Slowly things changed with the facility, where they would say he pushed his call button too much and not able to feed himself anymore. Neither were true. I was there once, when caregiver came in and Dad was not in a position to push his call button and caregiver said he did (which was impossible). I realized they wanted him out of there. We eventually did leave because he started to experience PTSD because of how they treated him and what they did to him. My dad was a kind, gentle man. We eventually found him a good home, but he was never able to fully recover. He was 98 years old.

My dad was welcomed with opened arms. He lived there before in independent living several years prior, so they knew him well. During COVID, because we couldn't visit him and take him out to exercise like we used too, his condition declined. Not a place for someone with disabilities, they are abandoned and left alone. My dad was blind and deaf. They started saying he needed more care, even though it was not true. One day he ended up in the hospital where he demonstrated symptoms of PTSD, when he recovered i asked him if he was treated well at Kivel and he said "No." It broke my heart. We helped employees there, bring food and toilet paper during pandemic and to learn they mistreated him was the worst feeling ever. We immediately moved him. We were fortunate to find him a home at [removed]. They took good care of him there - home cooked meals, great staff, even though he never fully recovered from the trauma he experienced. He was 98.

My father is a resident here and I just wanted to take a moment to thank the entire family staff of heroes 🦸 who helped him through a serious fall. Special thanks to Tammy the social worker liaison. Your kindness, compassion, commitment and dedication are deeply appreciated. Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍁🍽 Again, thanks 🙏 and God Bless

This place is very clean and well cared for. Any problems if reported will be addressed quickly. I love living here. Only downside is parking.

The food looked very good and there was no complaints from my loved one My loved one was only there for 7 months. [name removed] was kind and very caring. The front patio courtyard was so beautiful and clean. My mother-in-law loved sitting outside under the umbrella while having her meals.
