My sister and I recently moved our elderly parents into The Villages at Youngtown. My mom was in such need of assisted living as my dad had been her caregiver for the past 15 yrs after her stroke. At almost 88 yrs old, he just doesn’t have the strength to do it now. The staff was and is so kind, friendly, accommodating, and helpful to all of us especially my dad who has been beside himself trying to make this all work out. Mom and dad were able to get 2 adjoining rooms with a door between to use one for their BR and one for their LR, and it works out great! They can be together and still have…

They can be together and still have nice space for the 2 of them. My sister and I both live out of state, but feel comfortable and grateful that we found the Villages for our parents’ safety, security, and happiness. I’d like to give a special shoutout to Taren, Austin, Carmen, and Michael who all were so helpful and genuinely patient and kind to all of us. Thank you! Kind regards, Mary Riffle

Although the community has new owners, and the journey was a little bumpy, everything has exceeded our expectations. The Director, Robyn H and the members of her team, have provided our family with security, affordability and availability. Robyn promptly returns phone calls and is quick with assistance. Several of the caregivers have been there over a decade and provide Mom with exceptional care. Mom is happy and safe. We highly recommend stopping by for a tour and meeting the team.

Talking with residents, a lot of the amenities listed in their post are no longer available. The pool is closed, washers are not working, no longer has security at night, no longer providing transportation to doctors or grocery stores. Excessive pigeon dropping not cleaned up, meals not geared to dietary needs. Office staff are not responsive to resident needs and questions. Scheduled monthly meeting are cancelled, resident understands that the property is being sold again. On the outside, the package looks nice, but once you open it, it leaves a lot to be desired.

My father-in-law moved into this place about five days ago and so far he’s really liking it and everybody seems nice and accommodating so so far so good😊

I talked to LifeStream at Youngtown. It was a pleasurable experience. I would be happy to live there in the future. Not ready to move quite yet. Perfect place for me in the future.....

Good Experience and all going well as promised.

From my first visit to now the staff have all being super friendly and helpful always happy and smile with a great attitude... I especially loved how the the office staff worked with me and help me with my dad be and feel comfortable there at LifeStream and my dad loves it there ! ... I thank God because I'm able to visit and leave the facility with peace in my heart that my dad is well taken care of ...thank you all and God bless.

The option to be all inclusive is my favorite as well as the area and all the grass. The administrative staff can be rude when you go in to ask a question or get information. They don't greet when you walk in and are short with answering questions. I avoid going in there. [name removed] is the only one who isn't initially rude.
