There is such a warm environment at Matters of Senior Living! Roslyn personally cares for each person! There is love displayed each day and we love partnering with Roslyn and her care team!

Without a doubt MOSL was one of the best decisions I ever made as my mothers POA. The decision was made on very short notice due to the dynamics of the situation that nobody is ever prepared for. (Thank you Jonathan) It is very rare in life when you have your expectations exceeded. Roslyn Williams, the owner is a special person indeed. 1st of all I have great respect for her. She earned that. 2nd, I now consider her a friend, a benchmark person in the history of my life and the life of my mother. She runs a tight ship and her staff actually wants to live up to her expectations. That being…

That being said, my mother lived out the rest of her life with severe Dementia in a beautiful, clean and caring home that was full of laughter, singing and joy in what could have otherwise been a depressing environment. I actually looked forward to going over there and visiting my mom. The staff always was happy. There was singing and laughter and above all else 1st rate care for my mother. The staff, Bridgett, Linda and Stacey looked after my mom to the very end. They fed her, they changed her, they kept her clean and her spirts high. My mom knew she was in a good place. That meant everything. The cost; reasonable, very reasonable especially looking back at it. Do not try to do this work of caring for a loved one yourself. I can attest to that and now that my mother and I have passed through MOSL I look back on it with great confidence I did the right thing for my mother.

We were so lucky to find Matters of Senior Living for our father. Roslyn and her staff treated him like family from the moment they met him. They provided more than just the medical and physical care that he needed, they also showed him love and support as he worked on regaining his strength. Looking for a home for a loved one is never easy but when we met Roslyn we knew this was the place for dad.

My husband has moved into Matters of Senior Living. The reason I chose this one was that it's very close to our home and then I looked at the facility and it was very presentable. He was only there about a couple of weeks now and then all of a sudden he had some health issues again, so he had to be admitted to the hospital again. Right now, I'm hoping that he'll be able to go back to the facility in the next day or so. It's a very pleasant atmosphere and very roomy. They're always accommodating as much as they can. The interior of the home is very nice and very presentable. It's a good location. There's physical therapy close by there. I know the area pretty well. It's an accessible area that's very nice. There are hills behind you and there are walking areas there. They give meals three times a day. They have television screens here, there, and everywhere. They have enough bathrooms, and each person has their own room. It hygienically looks very clean and they're always cooking up some nice meals for the residents that are there. They do a good job and a few times they've said I'm welcome to join them, so I've had a couple little bites here and there of lunch or whatever. The staff is very friendly and very professional. They do what they can to help me as a caregiver to do as much as I can for my husband when I'm there. When I'm not there, I know he's in good hands. They had a musician come and played some music. Every other week someone comes there to play piano and play some instruments for some of the residents. It's not that filled up right now, so there's only a few residents. They do what they can. What I like is that there's a dog there and that's very sweet because the dog loves everybody. I think it's a little more expensive for some people that are looking for something a little bit more affordable.

From the moment I walked in, I knew this had to be the most amazing place for Seniors, and the reason I say this is because I have visited several Senior living places and the first thing I notice is an unpleasant smell. As a nurse, this is a big red flag for me. Not only was there a pleasant smell, but it was very clean, and beautiful. Roslyn was so welcoming upon my arrival and immediately gave me a tour of the facility, which included very nice spacious rooms, with updated furniture. I was warmly greeted by her loving clients who spoke highly about her and the care they were receiving. In addition, the aroma of the food that was being prepared really was impressive too, because it wasn’t boxed food but fresh food being served. I pay very close attention to detail, so again I was delighted to see this. Furthermore, I was able to observe how Roslyn interacted with her clients, and I truly witness her passion she has for them as they smiled and laughed with her. If you are looking for a place for your loved one, look no more because I guarantee they will be very pleased and impressed with this facility.

This is a warm and wonderful place for seniors to live. Roslyn is a very special caring person and there is almost nothing that she will not do for you if she can. I çelebrated my birthday here and she made sure that it was special, including a cake and a balloon. You will never find a more caring place. The help here are constantly watching over you and seeing to your every need. I just love it here along with Roslyn, Ben, Rosie, s..knee and the other residents.

Matters of Senior Living and owner Roslyn were an answer to prayer when we needed a place for my dad. She had a single room available, and it was perfectly suited for him. Although he was quickly placed in hospice care, Roslyn and her staff were caring and attentive, speaking and praying with him, even though he could not respond. Thank you!

With many years of experience Roslyn is a sincere and compassionate caregiver with knowledge and experience to provide the best in personal care in all phases of Senior living. She is a beautiful soul that cares for and nurtures her residents. Anyone will do well to be in her care. I have known her for many years and I hold her in the highest regard as a person of integrity, honesty, and ambition. Respectfully DJ KHAMIS. Board of Directors of The Stars Foundation.
