Orchard Pointe at Glendale is a beautiful community! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and everything is spotless and well maintained. Seeing everyone smiling, moving, and having fun really showed how much they care about providing a meaningful quality of life. I was truly impressed and would highly recommend Orchard Pointe at Glendale to anyone looking for an assisted living or memory care community for a loved one.
Johnny has worked so hard to please the residents. He went the extra mile to get my mom settled in her room and he always calls everyone by their names. He is sincerely interested in each resident. I’m grateful he works at Orchard Pointe Glendale.
I am extremely dissatisfied and upset with how Orchard Pointe Glendale assisted living home handled my mother’s passing. Not a single person from the facility contacted me with condolences or even basic acknowledgment. The complete lack of empathy and communication was shocking and completely unacceptable. What makes this even more disturbing is that even the hospice workers, who were only involved near the end, the time to mail me a heartfelt condolence card. They were not responsible for my mother’s daily care, yet they showed more compassion and respect than the facility where she lived.…

I am extremely dissatisfied and upset with how Orchard Pointe Glendale assisted living home handled my mother’s passing. Not a single person from the facility contacted me with condolences or even basic acknowledgment. The complete lack of empathy and communication was shocking and completely unacceptable. What makes this even more disturbing is that even the hospice workers, who were only involved near the end, the time to mail me a heartfelt condolence card. They were not responsible for my mother’s daily care, yet they showed more compassion and respect than the facility where she lived. Families trust assisted living staff to care for their loved ones and to treat families with dignity during difficult times. The way my mother’s passing was handled showed a troubling absence of compassion and professionalism. No family should ever be left feeling ignored or dismissed during such a painful moment. The leadership and staff need to seriously reconsider how they treat grieving families, because the way they treated mine was deeply hurtful and profoundly disappointing.

Orchard Pointe at Glendale is most definitely one of the top most pristine places to bring a loved one. With amazing staff and friendly faces everywhere. The dining experience is outstanding, and the servers answer every question without hesitation. The food is overall A++, love the staff and community they have here. Highly recommend! 🤗
Beware of any care facility that has a sales representative. The rep. is not required to be licensed. They have no fiduciary duty bound by law. Promises are made to perspective residents that often are not realized. The sales representative works on commission. That's why the move in fee is extremely high. Morningstar employee turnover rate is extremely high. They have also been through several directors in the short time they have been open. Do your homework before moving your loved one. Check with Arizona Department of Health for complaints. Our family finally gave up on false promises from management and corporate. We as a family knew the care for our loved one was extremely poor, but we never truly understood how bad it was until we moved to a different facility. Morningstar and many care facilities are all faced with the same situational problem. Caretakers require very little training. They dont even need a high school education. Research requirements to be a caretaker.....it's scary. They are under trained, underpaid, and are expected to fulfill great responsibilities for residences that require special, highly skilled care. For those of you who have experienced the same frustration we have, don"t give up. There are a few well run facilities out there. We recently lost our mother after a long battle with COPD. She lived her last year of her life at Rock Creek Memory Care in Surprise AZ. They don't have a salesperson. The director works personally with perspective new residents. The director is responsible for any and all representation. The employees are all well trained. The staff are all long-term employees. They work with passion for the residents because they love their job. They have zero complaints with AZ. Dept. Of Health. They are family owned and operated. My family hopes this review helps people who are just beginning their journey with their loved one. Hopefully, you don't learn the hard way, as we did. I would never, never recommend Morningstar....

Great community, super excited for my mom to move in. Luis and Alyssa did an amazing job and had the patience with all my questions.
I’m really thankful that my brother and I found MorningStar and that it could accommodate our mom’s health needs. It brought us both peace knowing she was in a safe, nurturing, and well-managed environment. The staff and caregivers were so compassionate and loving, which truly helped us during this challenging time for her. While losing her independence was a tough experience, she always reassured us that she felt cared for and comfortable. Would highly recommend this facility to others for their elder care.
