She consistently provides the information and support our team needs so we can serve residents in the best way possible. In my lifetime I have never been so stressed than when I was contemplating a new home for my aging Mother. I was fortunate with help to find this beautiful facility. After many sleepless nights for both myself and my mother she is in day 4 of her new adventure and she is living her best life. Wonderful AL and Memory Care company to work with. I have gotten to spend a lot of time here and the staff, nurses, and event people are great. There is a lot to do here and it feels like a great place to be for residents. I recommend it to people in the area when needed.

Jannea Downs the wellness director is outstanding! I am grateful to her for all that she has done to help assist my aunt in Morning Star! She goes the extra mile to make sure that all of the needs are met! Her genuine care and concern is amazing! I also want to thank her team members that have also been tremendous! I can’t say enough good things about Venessa and Christy! They take such wonderful care of my grandmother and always treat her with so much kindness and respect. Every time I visit, they greet me with a smile and make me feel at ease knowing my grandma is in such good hands. They go above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and loved, and it’s clear they truly care about the residents, not just as part of their job but from the heart. Their warmth and patience make such a difference in my grandma’s life and in ours as a family. We’re so thankful for everything they do!
I really wish to make a positive friendly report on Vanessa De La Cruz and Morning Star. This became my home six months ago and I am totally spoiled. This place is comfortable. Awesome a great place to live with someone like Vanessa helping us out. She’s always been there for support. She’s kind and it’s so good to have someone like that to rely on when you’re in a retirement home.P
Having recently moved our mother to Morning Star at Golden Ridge, we have found the people helpful, friendly, and genuinely caring. On the day that my mom moved in, she was met by another resident that welcomed her to the cruise ship that never goes out to sea. From the concierges at the desk to the sales representative, the life enrichment coach to the housecleaning staff, they call my mom by name and usually know the family’s names. They take time to listen and to work to make those who visit welcome.
The residents are in a very happy friendly community. Lots of activities and positive vibes all around. ¹1¹
