Our experience has not been the best! We were charmed when placing our loved one so much so that I missed so many red flags. The management is a joke— poorly run is an understatement. The food is blah- same thing every single day. The cleaners are mediocre at best and do the bare minimum. My mom has asked to have her bedding washed and they avoid washing anything not put in a basket for them. If you come after 5 be prepared to stand in the heat for 15+ mins for someone to let you in!!! They are greatly understaffed! I’d look elsewhere. This is not some place i want my loved one to be cared…

Where to begin? There are so many things. This place is always understaffed, especially at night. The food is horrible; there's no specific diet for people with diabetes. The director is a tyrant; she never greets anyone, only when she's giving a tour, of course, trying to convince people that the place is well-run, but it's quite the opposite. Whenever an employee tries to talk to her, she will walk away without saying anything. The maintenance man is in a relationship with one of his coworkers, and I wonder if that's professional. Whenever an employee tries to talk to her, she will walk away without saying anything. The maintenance man is in a relationship with one of his coworkers, and I wonder if that's professional. He never does anything; he's always behind his desk listening to music on YouTube. The activities are never anything special; they always play the same board games. Oh, and by the way, there's no nurse; someone from the corporate office is filling in. And I could go on and on about this place. If you truly care about your family members, don't bring them here. This place is a joke, and all they care about is making money, regardless of their residents or employees. It is the reason a lot of employees left or are planning on leaving.

Pegasus is the place to bring your loved one if you are looking for a facility that feels like a home. We moved mom from CA to be closer to us since my husband is her POA and she needs a high level of care. She is in early onset dementia and she is physically unable to care for her basic needs anymore. Pegasus has been everything we dreamed of for mom, she had her kidney removed this past June and cleanliness is very important to keep her healthy. Pegasus staff has gone above and beyond as we adjust her care plan and get acclimated. Mom moved in 1 month ago, we visit her very regularly she is clean, hair is always brushed beautifully, her apartment is clean, her laundry is being kept up beautifully as she is struggling with incontinence at night and has a high need for laundry to be done very often. The care team have loved on her and made her feel safe and cared for which is the top priority for us. The medical care she is getting by a company that comes into the facility is impressive we have already had xrays, labs, medication adjustments, a mobile dentist that will be coming to keep mom in the best health possible. There are endless activities for the residents to do daily that are fun and keep the residents busy and social. Mom has already had her hair done and a pedicure in the on site Salon. The food is very good, mom has gained 10 lbs of needed weight in the last month and is enjoying her meals. We highly recommend this facility! During one of the hardest things we have had to deal with Pegasus is making this transition a positive one. Thank you Pegasus!

It is rare to find a community that not only sets a high standard but consistently exceeds it, yet that is exactly what Pegasus Landing of Mesa achieves. I give them the highest possible recommendation. The Management team at Pegasus Landing is nothing short of exceptional. They are highly communicative, transparent, and proactive in maintaining a positive and supportive environment. They don't manage from an office; they are visible, interacting with residents, and always receptive to feedback. This visionary leadership trickles down, creating a culture where every employee understands their vital role in the residents' well-being. The Staff are the heart of this community. I would definitely recommend placing your loved one here.

Our experience with this Senior Living Community was top notch! We recently had to put our loved one here and the caring and compassionate care was amazing. Everyone was very attentive, they took an interest in our loved one, called her by name and made sure she was comfortable in her renovated, beautiful room.

The biggest issue for improvement is the food. What we like most is the facility is bright, beautiful and clean and the apartments are the perfect size. And the price compared to the others especially with how nice the apartments and facilities are

We recently placed our mom here after she had a stroke in February. It was probably the hardest decision we've ever made, especially since she wasn't able to come back home with us. She definitely needs assistance that we're unable to provide, working full time. The first good sign that we made the right decision, was when she was given the choice to come home and stay overnight her first weekend, she asked to go back to her apartment at the end of the day, because it would be easier! We knew at that moment this was the place for her. Kimberly and the director Brooke were both so warm and welcoming. I read some other reviews and I'm hoping both will be around for awhile. I know they strive for a fast response time and for the most part they achieve that pretty well. Most all of the staff are very kind, caring and just good people. They have activities that my mom enjoys, and the staff is always good at coming to get her when it's time for activities. She likes the food and it's nice that they have other things they can order other than the special. We're able to join her for any meal for minimal cost and even the employees in the dining and kitchen are wonderful. Last night was the icing on the cake. My sister, her son and his daughter came to town to visit our mom and it was also his birthday so, Brooke put me in touch with the dining director to help arrange a dinner for our whole family to eat together. The director setup a table for 18 of us, the servers and staff so graciously attended to us even though they do not accept tips. The food was great and we brought cake with us to share it with the staff who helped us. After they cleared the dishes, we were able to stay and play some cards for a bit. Both my nephew and mother had a wonderful time! Huge thank you for caring for our mother so well! (I held back from a five star, because she's only been here for a month ;)

For the most part all is great but could have slight improvements to be a 5 on each category. I would absolutely recommend them
