We chose Peoria because of the location of the facility and the friendliness and attitude of the administration and staff members. The room sizes here vary, he is in a double but he is the only person in that so it has been great. The staff are just so good at working with me on finances and have been patient with the VA and I really appreciate that. I would recommend to others looking.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to commend Peoria Adult Care Home for their care of our mother. Our entire experience was beyond outstanding. Not only was she well cared for, but she was loved and it significantly improved her quality of life. They spent time with Mom, took her out for strolls in her wheelchair, and totally kept us informed of her status. Every time we went to visit we were made to feel welcome and the facility was always clean and open. The most amazing thing, however, was that they respected Mom's wishes . . . and ours. We had a tour set up and the tour was just fine. We had a professional representative who know about the community. Nothing was wrong we just felt it was not the right fit.
This senior home is awesome and we could not have found a better place for our mother. She has improved since arriving here - much happier and much more alert. The staff is not only awesome but they are truly family. The home is always clean and everyone there is treated with respect and care. Thank you to everyone there who has made my mother's life much better!!
