We went there to celebrate our aunts 90th birthday. It was wonderful.
Can you believe that the HOA was involved in the construction of the fire station? they demanded that the building have a hard ceiling, causing all sorts of havoc for all the essential services that run through the ceiling that need 100% accessibility. And the funny thing is, the fire station isn't something that people can walk through and hang out all inside of it. the building itself sits outside the community on top of that. The HOA was so horrible, that they demanded that the parapet (the walls along the roof, making it so you cant just walk off the roof and on to the ground) be so high,…
The HOA was so horrible, that they demanded that the parapet (the walls along the roof, making it so you cant just walk off the roof and on to the ground) be so high, that it covered all air handlers and anything else on the roof. The HOA didn't want to "see" that. That's why it looks like a banquet hall and not the FIRST RESPONDER FIRE DEPARTMENT like it SHOULD look. If you think a fire department drops your home values? then imaging the other stupidity that the HOA is demanding living in that horrible place? That's WAY too much power. And what exactly was an HOA gonna do if the fire department didn't comply to their Karen wishes? Foreclose? They should have told them, "Good luck putting out fires with your garden hoses"
