I'm currently staying at Sante North Scottsdale getting help in recovering from a nasty bout of pneumonia. The cuisine is very good, my room is very comfortable, and the staff overall is excellent. In particular I'd like to recognize the excellent care CNA's Monica and Sonya, and Jill in PT.
My husband has only been here for two days and we have received excellent care from Hazel. She always has a smile and upbeat attitude towards her patients. She is willing to go the extra mile to see that he is comfortable and answers any questions we may have.
My husband, Mark has been at Sante for two weeks now, with more to come. Words cannot explain our appreciation for such an amazing staff! His CNAs like Monica, Rick, Alicia, Daphne, Daniele, to name a few. His fantastics nurses like Ida, Con, Solomon, and Linda. His PT and OT people like Ram, Amanda, Jill, Taylor and Annette. They all are so kind, helpful, supportive, and they all make this unfortunate health experience as comfortable as possible. They all deserve a raise in our minds! We highly recommend this facility when you are in need of this level of care. The facility is clean, nice,…

We highly recommend this facility when you are in need of this level of care. The facility is clean, nice, and comfortable. We pray you don't need this, but if you do, this is the right place. THANK YOU, Monica for giving us the link to make this review. We appreciate you! P.S. Wanted to comment on a few more amazing staff that jumped in since we wrote this original review: Nurse Abby, CNA Cathy and Jeniece, and Karina have been so kind, helpful, and comforting. We just cannot say enough about this caring team of nursing professionals.
Lorie Villanueva has been an excellent helper in every way. Thank you for her gracious kindness Benny was a wonderful attentive waiter.. thankful for service. Amie - Another fantastic care giver. Lindsay - just absolutely an amazingly kind and caring nurse. Responded quickly for concerns
This place has been great. The lady I am an in-home caregiver for is currently staying here and she has had some amazing staff caring for her. I want to specifically mention the CNA she had the most Fine is his name. He has been great. He has been so kind, caring, and compassionate. She has stayed here in the past but it’s been a few years but this time it has well exceeded our expectations. A lot of has been because of Fine he is such a hard worker when he saw me looking for cranberry juice and I told him the fridge was out of it he called and even went downstairs and got enough to stock the fridge himself. That is above and beyond service and it is greatly appreciated.
A very special thank you to my CNA, Ty. She is truly amazing and has been such a blessing during my recovery. Ty is always smiling, very patient, and responds to my call light quickly. She goes above and beyond to make sure I have everything I need and always treats me with respect and genuine care. Her positive attitude and dedication made a huge difference in my experience.
The best thing about Sante in North Scottsdale is Benny. I believe his position there is the assistant kitchen manager. He consistently went above and beyond to improve the quality of service that residents receive. He cares about the person and their experience. He was one of the few people that seemed to know what they were doing and had the desire to follow through and complete the task correctly. Benny cares. Sante doesn’t. Overall the facility (building) itself is nice, but staff are overwhelmed, overworked, and probably not being paid well enough to even act like they care. From nurses who didn’t even give a glass of water when giving a pill, to routine blood draws that happen in the middle of the night, to long wait times when calling for help, there is a serious lack of coordination and communication from the top down. I was constantly told things that never came to fruition. Even simple tasks of updating the date on the patient board would not get done. If I did not have family to help, i think that the door to the room would have been closed and only reopened when the 20 day Medicare billing timeframe was up. Do better Sante.
The staff were all helpful. Standouts were Ida and Fine. They were friendly and compassionate. Meals were generally good. The facility was clean and conducive to patients recovery
