4.2 · 166 reviewsI would highly recommend TSL for any aging adult! It’s a very active place if that’s what you want or peaceful if you’d rather! The people working there are so welcoming and the tenants are mostly welcoming as well! The food in the dining room is good, has a nice selection and pretty open times to eat which is great!
It's really nice and clean and offers a lot of activities. They are very open to suggestions from the residents. Mom loves the interaction with all of the residents. When she lived in her home she had little interaction with people and activities. She is so much happier at Thunderbird. She just loves it there. The dining room is very nice (they have waitstaff that take orders). If they don't want to eat in the dining room, they can always take their dinners out or have room service ( at an additional charge). They also take their dinners residents to local places to do their shopping. I know…

It's really nice and clean and offers a lot of activities. They are very open to suggestions from the residents. Mom loves the interaction with all of the residents. They also take their dinners residents to local places to do their shopping. I know they will take people to appointments also but we have not utilized that service yet.
They are ready & willing to work with you in anyway they can. Perhaps you like living on the first floor or like facing the pond, etc. also, you may not like your meal, they will change it for you. So far, They have been very cooperative.

Solid 5 all around. Excellent facility and crew. We eat with Dad a few times a month. Pretty good. The serving staff is very patient with all the people who dine and live there. We absolutely recommend this community to other families. 5 star.
The residents are nice and welcoming and overall it has a good atmosphere. The facility is old so they are slowly renovating it. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families if you are not looking for frills and posh.
I give Thunderbird a 5 in all categories. It is a great place to live. The staff is a big plus [names removed] do so much for the residents and care about us. [name removed] is a great leader, it's just a great place to live.
The staff and other residents have been very helpful, there are always activities going on, and I like how my mom can just sign up to go somewhere. She was apprehensive at first about selling her car, but now she realizes that she doesn't really need it. And the food is better than expected!
The staff is extremely cheerful and caring to all of the residents and families that come to visit. My father has recently been put on hospice and the staff is so kind to all of us as we visit with dad two and three times a day. Always wanting to get us something or whatever to make us more comfortable. I am really happy that we have Dad at Thunderbird senior living.
