I lived in WR for 3 years. After one or two years I realized the town is filled with aging people and there are no younger people around to fill their needs. Try finding a handiman for instance. Although there is a hospital and doctors, the good doctors don’t stay long and the hospital is terrible. I flunked a EKG and found out EVERYONE was flunking EKGs for a couple of months due to problems at the facility. The best restaurant in town is Denny’s and there is no decent pizza… not even Dominios. Then I got tired of driving 40 minutes for good shopping like Trader Joes, Sprouts, etc. Yes it is…

We actually love being a part of the Troon community. Wickenburg could and should be great! Enjoy seeing that we are receiving attention from corporate. Wickenburg needs some TLC. Looking forward to the positive growth in this beautiful community. Some real focus on food, and services.

This is a tight, fun course with some really cool holes and tee box locations. The staff was great and the price is reasonable.
Fantastic retirement community. Only a few Karens.
Best place to live in Arizona. Gets hot in the afternoons but cools off much quicker once the sun goes down than Phoenix. Gets hott later in the day. Walking trails, golf, pool, and scheduled fun activities keeps people busy. Plus most people are retired and fun to be around and are having fun. What more could you ask for. Right now houses are a steal to own. Property taxes and property insurance are crazy low.
