I would never recommend Whitestone to anyone looking for safe, compassionate care for their loved one. During my father’s stay, we experienced repeated medication issues, including discovering that medications that had just been refilled were completely gone because staff were reportedly “borrowing” medications for other residents when supplies ran out. The facility was consistently understaffed, often with only one nurse covering an entire cottage. If a resident fell while the nurse was occupied, they were left waiting on the floor. Safety gates were frequently left open by staff, and I was able to remove my father from the facility without any meaningful security checkpoint or verification process. Most upsetting of all, my father was repeatedly covered in bruises up and down his arms while in their care. Since removing him from Whitestone in January, he has not had bruising like that again. We also struggled with significant communication barriers due to language issues with staff, which made addressing concerns even more difficult. No family should have to question whether their loved one is safe. Our experience with Whitestone was deeply disappointing and heartbreaking.

Every place has its perks. But maintenance experience and friendly care are up there big time.

Dont put your loves one here , Worst place ever. Some of the staff don't speak english can't understand. Too much intimidation. No treaty at all about to demitcha. Brokered bones and stitches. Oh, is that the hospital because of a UTi.. Lack of communication, though people underneath the bus. This place should be closed. They have no idea. Some of the employee's have no idea what they're doing there. They don't know what how to take care of your loved ones. Also the changed their name. They should be copper assisted living something like that. That's where the lady walked off this place. She died…

The staff is very helpful and on the bright side they are in the early stages of a remodel. Her private room was lovely and they just finished the painting of all the buildings exteriors. I did have one dispute with a caregiver but [name removed] the administrator and [name removed] the nurse responded quickly and remedy the situation and I never saw the caregiver again.

It's the little things! Little things like acknowledging the residents of care centers and nursing homes are still important people. Acknowledging a special day like a birthday. Giving hugs and smiles to those who don't always understand. Today is the first time in several months, I got in my car after visiting mom and actually had "happy tears." I haven't seen her smile so much, or be so delighted as she was today in a very, very long time. And, when I left as lunch was being served, she was still smiling and loving life. This truly warmed my heart. Thank you, Whitestone, for taking care of mom. I know she is safe, secure, and cared for.

I'm not interested in Whitestone Assisted Living. I feel like it's very dark and I'm not comfortable that the wellness director is only an LPN. It doesn't seem like there's very good medical oversight. The facility was nice and the villa was nice, but it felt like a nursing home, and I don't know that my dad would be comfortable leaving my mother there. I was not impressed with this community. I don't think that it was fairly priced. Whitestone was smaller and darker. The building not only looked older, but it smelled older. I wasn't able to interact with the staff because they were kind of just sitting around. When I went into one of the villas, one of the staff members was on her phone. The other staff member who we talked with was alert. He was very personable and pleasant, but the staff didn't seem to be engaged with the residents beyond just passing medications and performing activities of daily living with the residents. It felt a little disconnected to me. My mom would kind of be left on her own and left to her own devices. The building was old. The lady who toured us had a difficult time getting in and out of a secured gate. The gate was rusted and looked very old. It looked like it needed to be repaired. The rooms seemed distant. Their wellness director is an LPN, and she's distant. She's not connected and involved, so it made me very uncomfortable. I just felt like I would be putting my mom in a room and forgetting about her.

I had an amazing experience with Miss Georgianna she was very polite informative and has an amazing personality

. One of the standout experiences of Whitestone is the exceptional staff, particularly the front receptionist, Georganna. From the moment you walk through the doors, she greets you with a warm smile and a welcoming demeanor that immediately puts you at ease. Her knowledge of the community and its amenities is extensive, and she goes above and beyond to assist residents and visitors alike. Whether you're inquiring about activities, need directions, or have any concerns, Georganna handles everything with professionalism and kindness. Her ability to make everyone feel valued and cared for is truly remarkable, and it significantly enhances the overall experience at Whitestone.
