My father-in-law has lived at Winston Park for almost three years. The staff is caring, skillful and respectful; the food is good and individualized; the house is spacious, clean and comfortanle. Adriana keeps in close touch with us and always responds quickly to questions. Her nursing background is a big asset in trouble-shooting medical issues as well as working with visiting professionals and hospice staff. My FIL is safe, content and comfortable at Winston Park. Thank you, Adriana and team!
It is quite a reassurance to find nowadays homes that do sincerely care about people and I'm glad to have witnessed it myself at Winston Park. Caring for others is heavenly! Keep up the good work!
I have known several people who have lived at Winston Park and all of them have been happy with the care. When you walk in, it just feels pleasant and friendly. It has been immaculately clean every time I have been there. The meals are great! The owners are truly compassionate, caring people who work hard to make life better for all who live there. I would not hesitate to recommend this home!
Adriana, Paul and all the caregivers are incredible. They all really care for their residents living there. My mother was in another assisted living home in Mesa prior to coming here. She was only at the other home for 4 days, before going back to the ER for some serious issues that I believe were caused by the other group home's neglect. My mother was bed bound for 4 months prior to coming to Winston Park. Within a couple of weeks of them working with my mother, she has been able to transfer from the bed to a wheelchair and then to a walker and taking a few small steps. This is huge progress from where my mother was at the other nursing and assisted living facilities. The home is very beautiful, clean and the meals are very nutritious and my mother really loves it there. So, if you want the best care for your love ones, definitely check out Winston Park in Mesa. I'm blessed to have my mother in the care of Winston Park. Thank you Adriana, Paul and all the caregivers for your loving care for my mother.
End of life housing and care is never fun. Winston Park is a beautiful, safe, and caring environment. We selected the home over four different facilities in the East Valley for my 96 year old grandmother.
They are well qualified to take care of the residents. They also will change and adapt to what is needed. They are great people. I would recommend this community for your loved one. They have very good communication.
My loved one lived there for a few months. This was a great home really fantastic. The staff were very friendly There was large spaces. and a nice outdoor walking area. My loved one enjoyed living here.
My brother has been living in Winston Park. He's got good support from the staff. The owner of the facility is a registered nurse and she's trained in wound care, and that was something my brother needed. He had five sores when he came into the facility, but she's gotten them all healed, and she's kept them healed. She's done a very good job. The staff is very, very friendly. They listen and care very much about the residents. It's the owner's former home, and she's done a lot of updates to it as far as she's replaced the flooring, painted, updated the house, added air conditioning units, and so forth. She's even added solar power to the house. They serve three meals a day and he's happy with it. The only thing is, there's not a lot of activities. When you only have ten people and those people don't have a lot of interests in common, it's hard to do activities for all. What we did is we bought my brother a computer and a tablet so he can entertain himself. Also, since it's been a residential house and they've had to do adaptations, they have ramps and stuff all over the house. That's a bit of a problem because he's wheelchair bound, and he can't roll himself around, so the staff has to do it for him. The doors are a little narrow too. They are standard residential doors, so when you roll the wheelchair through, he has to make sure his hands are in his lap, not dangling out beside the wheelchair. Still, I think we're getting good value for our money because the staff is very caring, concerned about the residents, and there are four staff members for ten people. Adriana, the owner of the property, takes the attitude that once a person moves into the home, she will do everything she can to take care of them to the end of their life so that they're not going to have to move again.
