My mother is in Zen Senior Living. It's independent living so they don't have any assistance of any kind; it's just for 55 and over. They've got a nice clubhouse, activities for them to do, they have a nice heated pool and Jacuzzi, and they have a courtyard for them to sit in. So it's nice for them. They don't have dining services; they just have coffee and Danishes in the morning for them. The staff is very nice; the activities are pretty minimal.

I looked at Zen Senior Living and I liked it. There was nothing available, but it's very peaceful and the name is befitting. I like that it's a peaceful community. The staff took me in a 2-bedroom and showed me how it would look in a 1-bedroom since she didn't have an extra to show me. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. I saw an exercise room, a library, meeting room, there's an elevator which I thought is good- even there are only 2 floors. They've got a pool and I saw people or seniors sitting by the pool. What I like about it is that they have a separate patio area that's gated, for the people at the bottom floor. The property is a little older, and that's the only reason why I won't rate it a 5. There was a board full of activities laid out for the whole month.

The new management company is an investment firm. The property manager is a horrible excuse for a human, and the property is no longer being maintained or managed properly. Residents are screamed at, ignored and mistreated by Barbara on a regular basis. Residents are afraid of her and afraid to report any issues in their units. When they go to corporate they are told "move" as if they don't have a legal obligation to stay. Protect yourselves and your parents from this horrible organization.

Loved the indepence of their residents and the location. Great quiet neighborhood with peaceful streets

My brother and I moved our mother into Paradise Village Senior Living in 2012. My mother and father were married at the ages of 18 and 19, living their whole life together. When my father passed, it was hard for my mother getting use to living alone. PVSL was awesome in making my mom feel right at home. My mom loves living at PVSL. My brother and I know if something happens to my mother we will be notified immediately, which gives us piece of mind knowing mom can live still live in an Independent Living Community and knowing she is safe at all times. Stephanie [Removed] put in a new kitchen so the residents would have freshly prepared meals and not to have to have catered meals brought in. Ms. [Removed] made several upgrades to the property when she took the property over making it a gorgeous and peaceful place to call home. The clubhouse is awesome with chairs for the residents to sit outside and visit around the pool and view the beautiful surroundings. Awesome Place for Mom!!!!!

The new owners of this community put money into the front offices and not into the community. I would definitely recommend that you make them give you a tour of the complete community. The food is bad and is brought in from outside. We were in her room and pulled the chain for assistance and we did not hear anything for about 8 minutes. The nurse was hanging the wash on the line outback.

I have lived at PVSL for over two years now. it is a wonderful place to reside at. The staff at PVSL is continually trying to improve and make the residents lives better. There are a vast number of activities that any resident can participate and take advantage of. One can use the library, the pool, or any othe other amenties at PVSL. The grounds are kept up at all times, which makes for a terrific living atmosphere. I would reccomend PVSL to anyone who desires a safe, friendly, place to reside at.

The people who run Paradise Village seemed very pleasant and very nice. It was way too casual for me. And it wasn’t aesthetically attractive.
