My experience was not good at all My long time friend was in this place for only 12 days even though he paid for the whole month they kicked him out and refuse to give him some money back, he was not happy at all because he had an obnoxious, rude, loud roommate who played loud music, had the volume of the T.V really loud and like a child had these disturbing games, my friend suffers of chronic Diahrrea and he said if he pooped at night they would not change him until the next day, he would argue with the woman in charge Jocelyn Jasper who was very aggresive and greedy and he even called her a thief when he found out that hs roommate was only paying half of what he was paying but the guy had been longer so he was used to be alone and did not like sharing the room with my friend so he was making it very hard for him to stay, That woman wanted to keep my friend sedated so that he would not bother them, my friend is 86 years old and people at that age can be difficult and he is not the exception but if these people are in that business they should know that sick and old people can be very difficult, I am actually thinking about sueing that mean woman.
The care and assistance my mother gets here is superior. The team works hard to make sure that the she is safe, and so are the other clients. I know my mother is safe here and cared for and that's a relief.
The care my mother receives is superior and the management is great. I'm in contact with the owner whenever I need anything and my mom's care needs are expressed to me always immediately. I feel as though my mother is safe and cared for!

My friend has been with Imperial Palace for almost a year, and it has been a wonderful experience. The owner, Jocelyn, was instrumental in getting her ALTCS certified and she and the staff have taken excellent care of her. The home is clean, quiet, secure, and has a family-like atmosphere. Communication has been excellent as well. Highly recommended!!
Imperial Palace assisted living was a very kind and caring place for my husband. It’s a clean, small independently ran facility. I was kept informed of his care and treatments.
Lovable staff, friendly and easy to approach, beautiful place for love-once.
I highly recommend The Golden Retreat Care Home. I couldn’t be happier with the facility and their staff. They are so friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. My Grandmother has a special diet and they do a wonderful job making sure she has all her favorites. They spend extra one on one time with her to keep her happy and positive. The home is clean, bright and well maintained. The owners are easy to talk with and keep me informed of my Grandma’s health. They keep up with all her meds and communicate well with her doctors. My grandma deserves to be treated kindly and with respect and they do a great job.
Beware this care home...after our parents lived there for a year we got a 20% increase notice for the room they were in or a 14% raise to move them into another room. One of our parents is in hospice care. We received this notice along with an email about how the owner is operating at a deficit, 2 weeks before Christmas and 2 weeks after we had just visited from out of state. Only after we found a new care home were we offered to move them to the other room for the same rate. After doing some research a 3 to 5 percent increase is the normal rate increase per year. We had to book another trip and relocate them. The employees repeatedly bad mouthed us to our parents and caused a lot of unnecessary stress and anxiety. Sometimes things happen for a reason and we are so glad they have moved into a much more professionally run care home
