My father lived here for four years and considered it his home and was very happy there. The staff treated him like a family member and I could see they respected and cared deeply about him. They provided him and the other residents with their individual needs addressed. It was the best assisted living facility I have ever seen.
The Villas at Academy Village is truly a gem. They are small, so the staff quickly gets to know each patient on an individual basis, and they treat us well. I never felt uncared for or in jeopardy, and they treated me with dignity and respect. Everyone should be so lucky to have a Villa to help them as they navigate their final months / years.
My husband spent ten weeks this summer in the new Villa on Vivaldi -- from mid-June through the end of August, continuing his recovery from a hip fracture. What a life saver that was for us! I needed to get the house packed up for a move to Seattle and there was no way he could have stayed there while that was going on. We were both very pleased with the care and attention that the fine staff there gave him (and me too)! And it was truly lovely to be so close to home, surrounded by people we already knew and cared about. The Villa was kept immaculately clean, full of light and comfort. We…

We cannot say enough about how great it was to have him there in what could have been an impossible situation. Many kudos!!
I came to Academy Villa in 2010 because I definitely needed physical help and they were my closest and most reasonable choice. I have not regretted my move and now that my husband has joined me, I am certain it is the best place for us. I feel the caregivers, the heart of such facility are well chosen for their jobs. While a diverse group in age, experience, personality, they work well with the residents and other caregivers.
Excellent customer service, caring and professional staff makes the Villas feel like a second family.
Both of my parents lived together at the Academy Villas for six years. The caring staff and "home-like" atmosphere meant they received the individualize care they needed. I was confident they were well taken care of as they became more frail.
Excellent facility, always clean, good food, comfortable, beautiful desert setting. Excellent staff, always cheerful, respectful, helpful, act like extended family, and loving. I could not found a better home for my mother.
My parents lived at the Villas for six years. The staff was wonderful and providing them with loving care as they became increasingly frail. Because the facility is relatively small, it provided a home-like environment where their individual preferences were known to the staff and they received personalized attention.
