We interviewed five similar assisted living houses. And hands-down, there’s no contest. So happy we choose Blue Lakes. They took great care of my mom. Highly recommended!

I can't express all of the gratitude I have for the level of care and accommodations that we found and experienced for our Mom at Blue Lakes! First of all, the house itself is gorgeous! So clean, all of the time! It even passed my mother's cleaning inspection, which I thought was actually physically impossible!!! It sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a well kept, lushly landscaped neighborhood. You would never know the size of the place from the street view! I can't express all of the gratitude I have for the level of care and accommodations that we found and experienced for our Mom at Blue Lakes! First of all, the house itself is gorgeous! So clean, all of the time! It even passed my mother's cleaning inspection, which I thought was actually physically impossible!!! It sits at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a well kept, lushly landscaped neighborhood. You would never know the size of the place from the street view! It looks like a regular sized upscale home and you would never imagine it is an assisted living place. But what really hit me when I first walked in, was it felt like someone's beautiful home! Relaxing, but alive....people were smiling and talking, the residents and the caretakers! Mom was very well cared for, even in the smallest of things that are important to her. Not only is the staff there wonderful, but Ben, who is the owner, is very hands on. He was always available anytime we ever needed him, and he was continually critiquing Moms ever changing needs and/or wishes! I am very grateful for his kindness and patience towards our Mother! Another thing I was impressed with was how special they made birthdays and holiday celebrations for the residents. Mom went on and on about how Ben's sweet little boy brought to her, her "very own" Easter basket! So cute! While living there Mom really did enjoy participating in the all the different activies they make available for residents. While other days she chose to read her books alone in the quiet of her room. Overall it was a great experience and I was soooo relieved of so much worry and anxiety knowing that she was in a safe environment and being well cared for! I highly recommend Blue Lakes!

My 87-year-old mother has lived at Blue Lakes Assisted Living for the past 4 1/2 months, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ben and his staff of on-site caregivers. I highly recommend them. Genuine compassion/friendliness, & excellent care/communication make Blue Lakes an outstanding assisted living home. The spacious house is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. Our family appreciates Ben’s genuine kindness and willingness to help my mom be comfortable and cared for - we feel lucky to have found Blue Lakes Assisted Living.
We were very fortunate to find Blue Lakes Assisted Living for my mom, who was just shy of one month turning 101 when she passed. Prior to her moving into Blue Lakes she was extremely independent but unfortunately, in the last months of her life, she needed more care. Blue Lakes was outstanding in what they offered. The home is beautiful along with the individual rooms. They offered weekly menus of good food & special treats. Ben goes out of his way to make sure the residents and their families are taken care of. The staff is so caring and will go out of their way to help. My mother would always comment on how wonderful they were to her. Not to mention they were open to her, teaching them rummikub. The residents and staff enjoyed playing together. I highly recommend if you’re needing an assisted living home this would be your choice for your loved one.
I highly recommend Blue Lakes Assisted Living. They took excellent care of my mother who was already on hospice when she moved in. She was very high maintenance and no matter what she challenged them with, they went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of. They are very trust worthy and do an outstanding job. Ben, the owner was very accommodating and was always available if i needed something. Highly recommend
My mom came to Blue Lakes at age 97 when she was no longer able to live in her own home. Although this was a big transition for her, she quickly became comfortable and happy there. She enjoyed interacting with the other residents and the caregivers, and appreciated the fresh and homemade meals. She even bragged about how she was putting on some much needed weight. The owner Ben is very hands on and easy to work with. He made accomodations to ensure that my moms wants, as well as her needs, were met. The caregivers were very kind, loving, and patient. During her time at Blue Lakes my mom was happy, safe, and well cared for.
I had the pleasure of having my Mom reside at Blue Lakes Assisted Living for 2 years. Her experience there was by far the best care I have ever witnessed in my 8 plus years of working with Assisted Living facilities. Ben and his staff care deeply for each and every resident as if they too were family. Ben is very hands on and is involved in all aspects of the care giving process. He was always in touch with any concern, and or issue and every aspect of daily life for my loved one. His staff went above and beyond to make Mom feel special for Birthdays and Holiday celebrations. Most important, Ben aspires to maintain a clean and healthy environment for all his residents and their family.
