Brookdale Oro Valley put on a great birthday party for my husband who turned 102 August 7th. They decorated the dining room with musical pictures and provided plates of fruit and two incredible cakes made from scratch. All 30 guests raved about the party. They also provided caretakers at the door to welcome the guests. I am Carroll Reitz and my husband is John Reitz. I can’t thank them enough.
I work with this community quite a bit. Elisha is very helpful and always knows what is going on in the building. She and rest of the staff have a great relationship with the residents also.
What a fabulous place! The staff are so friendly and they truly care about their residents. Elisha is a sweetheart! She treats everyone like they are her own family. I had my dad in a Brookdale memory care property in Missouri, sure wish it was here in Tucson.
Brookdale has provided incredible care for my husband. I am forever grateful to them.
Putting someone you love into a memory care facility is never easy. It was a tough decision to make. We toured and looked into six different local facilities before choosing Brookdale and I’m so glad we did. He is getting so much better care than we could provide him at home. Elisha was the best ever. She made a stressful situation so much easier to go through and provided frequent updates and communication. You can tell she cares and this applies to everyone we have worked with at Brookdale. From the admin, to the medical staff, to the care staff, everyone has been great. We would do it all again. Thank you.
I am grateful my loved one who suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease is able to live at Brookdale Oro Valley. The physical space is lovely, with lots of natural light. The staff members are amazingly wonderful, loving and caring, and there are a variety of activities appropriate for people suffering from dementia. The food is of high quality, and there is good variety. My loved one’s quality of life is tremendously improved by being able to reside at Brookdale Oro Valley
The Administrative Staff initially is very welcoming and when problems arise because of inappropriate behavior from the patient, they do not team with other professionals. They make unilateral decisions without consulting with Hospice and send patients out at night to St Mary's Hospital without getting health insurance approval. A $[removed] bill resulted with no insurance coverage!
When you need a place but can't stay at home. Brookdale is this next best place. The facility and its staff bring joy to difficult times. Thank you, Brookdale, for being the missing piece for our family.
