This facility is our neighbor. It is well kept and attractive inside and out. Although, not a resident, have visited it and am always impressed by the pretty interior and the good care its residents obviously receive. My "joke" to hubby...just wheel me down to the end of the block when it's my time as I know I'll be in the best of hands.

Desert Breeze was the best facility I found after looking at several. The initial interface with the staff was not satisfactory, since we were told by hospice that they were overly stern with him, and made him do things, like go to bed, that he did not want to do. The room was large, but the blinds were broken, and acces to the back yard was blocked by storage items on the patio ( we thought he would be able to take his scooter outside). At times, it seemed like the staff watched TV game shows instead of checking on their patients. My father was in the care of Desert Breeze for only a few…

My father was in the care of Desert Breeze for only a few days, so a more complete evaluation is not possible. Our overall rating is as above.

My dad loves this group home. His caregivers are top notch. They really care about my dad. Can't say enough good things about this group home

The staff members and their care services were one of the main reasons we chose Desert Breeze. Another reason would be the value for cost, it is very reasonable. From our understanding the meals are pretty good because our loved one eats all of the meals.

Desert Breeze is a small place, it is a house with bedrooms so it does not really have that social vibe, but the value is excellent. There was always a good care giver to residents ratio.

Very nice home. Owner will advise me of vacany info. Their price is $3500. Still a little higher than the amount we spoke about.

I had to move my mom from an inferior assisted living home recently; and after a long, thorough search I found Desert Breeze Assisted Living. The owners, Wilma and Brendy Collado, spent time with me on the phone to understand my mom's needs, as well as when I toured two of their homes (they have three) in Chandler. The homes are spacious, beautifully decorated, cozy, and comfortable. We ended up choosing a room at their 1080 S Amber home. The caregivers are friendly, kind, and go out of their way to take care of my mom. At her last home, she never left her room or ate in the dining room (she's in early dementia). Here, she spends her days in "her own" recliner in a family room watching TV and playing games on her tablet. She eats every (home--cooked) meal at the table. My brothers and I are amazed at the difference the Desert Breeze care has made in her behavior. It's so comforting to us knowing that my mom has the best of care, especially after a year in a subpar house. I highly recommend anyone looking for quality senior care to meet the Collados and tour their homes. They rarely have openings—a great sign.

Very friendly staff, very clean.
