Moving to Emerald Springs six months ago in mid-March was the best decision I could have made. Right from the start, the moment I drove up, the community made an incredible impression. Two things stood out immediately: the residents and the staff. The residents are so genuinely friendly, and the staff constantly go above and beyond the call of duty. The cleanliness, helpfulness, and overall environment are spot on. Set across 8 beautiful acres, there is always something going on everywhere you look. I can truly say I never feel alone here. The activities are fantastic—Thursday happy hour at 3:00 PM is the place to be! I always leave happy, surrounded by great camaraderie. Another absolute highlight of my day is the fellowship in the dining room. Sitting with four wonderful ladies, laughing, caring for one another, and sharing meals together brings so much joy to my life. I would recommend Emerald Springs to anyone looking for assistance and a true community. If I had to describe Emerald Springs in one sentence, I would say: "I wish I would've moved in sooner." — Mary

It's like putting an old broken down motor into a brand new shell, looks good from the outside but rotten on the inside. They even charge like it's a 5 star luxury hotel. If you love your relative, find a place that honestly cares for them, not their money. Smiles and concerns.....all fake, and determined by how much you pay and comply!! ONLY sincere ones are the awesome caregivers, even the bus driver El, who go above and beyond and are ALL abused and underpaid in my opinion. You should see how the managers act when they know the State is coming!! I wonder what would happen if they didn't…

If you love your relative, find a place that honestly cares for them, not their money. Smiles and concerns.....all fake, and determined by how much you pay and comply!! Don’t expect your appointments to have any follow through and definitely don’t expect any call back from admissions.
I had a week to find a place for my 92 yr old mom after she broke 4 ribs and needed surgery on something else. I narrowed it down and looked at 4 places. Emerald Springs was beautiful. The grounds immaculate with lots of shady spots to read or visit. Inside walks down the halls were interesting with unique artwork and resident display nooks outside their rooms. There is a lovely swimming pool. An art room, game room & movie room all rarely used. The dining room was large, cool & attractive. Now reality: the med techs gave my mom the wrong medication, once she blamed it on the movie. There was never ANYONE in the dining room or getting some fresh air. Their bus took mom to their Dr. She couldn’t put her shoes on & no one told her too so she walked across hot pavement and rocks in her stocking feet. She had an embarrassing accident in her room. The aide that came took one look said she was pregnant and left and no one ever came back. The Sales Dir. was selling it, but no-one delivered.
Very clean and very well maintained property. Food was very good and lots of options. My mother really enjoyed her very cute apartment and I had peace of mind knowing she was very well taken care of. Thank you for the recommendation of Emerald Springs!
My mom was a resident at the Emerald Springs Assisted Living Community in Yuma AZ. I was extremely pleased with the excellent care she received from the nurses, med aides, activities director, the dinning room staff and all staff in general. Everyone there was genuinely caring and compassionate. She loved living there and enjoyed all they had to offer. When I came to visit I could not get over all there was for her to participate in from arts and crafts, music, bible study, to fitness classes. She truly enjoyed the outings and trips around town. She really felt at home. When she was moved to memory care unit, she continued to receive the same exceptional and compassionate care. I never had to worry about the care she was receiving. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The facility itself is very clean, organized and well staffed. The food prepared in the dining room was great with good healthy choices to choose from. My personal favorite was the pot roast. I just want to say thank you to everyone for the exceptional care you gave our mom from the beginning till God called her home. Again, thank you!!! Barbara Dunbar
The property is lovely. There are many courtyards and out door spaces that residents can enjoy or gather. My dad's room has a small patio so he can sit and enjoy being outside. The interior is spacious with many areas for residents to gather with friends or simply enjoy being in the common areas chatting with residents as they pass.
