2.3 · 9 reviewsI wish I could give less than 1 star. This home is awful. They say activities but there are none they say outside time but they have stuff stored against the door. Residents are expected to be in bed or on the couch. My dad went in with dementia and came out terrified and I saw it all right away and pulled him within 4 months. Anything else is better than here.
The Gardenia Adult Care Home is a great place for your loved ones to be happy and kindly care. Also the price is reasonable. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend Gardenia Adult Care to other families.
Crazy Mail Order Bride Owner sitting on a high Horse.. Better Stay Away.. “Fake” Work relationships .. talk about the nurse and everyone who visits.. Even the families that help to pay their bills they talk ill about. Good luck to who ever comes across this home or these people.

Place smelled bad like cooked food, Not clean papers and stuff Everywhere. Not a place for mom or dad. All I really have to say is bad vibes, please find a new place or a different place for your family to spend their golden years.
On the outside this place looks like the sort of home you would like your loved ones to thrive in, but unfortunately behind closed doors it's a completely different experience. Prepare for your loved ones to go downhill faster than you could blink. The owner is verbally intimidating to the residents and will make physical threats (smashing porcelain, using profane language, taking away time measurements, etc.) to make them feel so small that they are afraid to speak up. Avoid at all costs.
Absolutely horrendous place. The owners are abusive to their residents physically and verbally. Do not consider this place for your loved ones, this is a place you go to die.
Would not recommend this place. If you can, care for your own family members! No one is going to provide the care and love to your own family like you My! My mother entered this place active and walking, nice and skinny. They would restrain her, pinned up against the wall in the kitchen chair with the table pressed against her. This has caused her to become wheelchair bound and gain weight. There has been multiple times I have gone and there were plaque on her teeth like they haven't been brushed.
Very homelike atmosphere. Very personable caring staff. Home smells wonderful and clean. Home cooked meals.
