Canyon Run which has changed its name to Granite Creek has been a great place to stay on subsidized senior rents but now they are raising the rents from the once $650/mo that I paid when I first moved in three years ago to the now $849/mo to the near future $1450/mo for a 1 bdrm, which I will not be able to afford. It is still one of cheaper and nicer places to stay in Prescott. I will be homeless once the rent goes up so I am desperately looking for another senior…

Everybody has a long waiting list and I just may be out of luck. But if you can afford the higher rents it is a great place to stay!
I live at Granite Gate. Everybody here is nice and go out of their way to help you. They are polite. I couldn't ask for better surroundings. The food is mostly good, but always enough to eat. There are a few staff members that stand out like Dakota and Tammy who have been especially friendly and helpful.
I have a friend at Granite Gate and visit often and am always impressed. It’s warm, welcoming and very clean. Residents and staff seem so happy and there is always a positive atmosphere. It has a resort style feeling but still feels homey. When my time comes, I know where I’ll be going!

My mom, 89 years old, with limited mobility, moved in December 18th and she is very happy there. The food is remarkable, the place is elegant, the facility has a lot of activities, both inside and off premises. The staff is very kind and attentive. The residents are friendly and welcoming. It's located in the beautiful Granite Hills in Prescott. I feel she is very secure there. It is pricy, but competitively, and it's worth it.
Do not leave them here!! I had to leave the state for 3 weeks to sell my mom's house and when I came back she was a puddle of mud...overmedicated, couldn't get out of bed, sitting in feces and urine covered clothes and blankets and severely unattended. If I could say a minus 10....it wouldn't even be close
Do not leave your family member in this place. They force sick kitchen staff members to work or be fired. This means your elderly family members are eating food prepared by staff members who are seriously ill.
I am so pleased with Granite Gate. We just moved my parents into Granite Gate Assisted Living. It was a difficult decision to leave home. However, my dad needed more care than he could get at home. Georgette and Dakota moved mountains helping me get appointments arranged, questions answered, repairs made in the apartment, etc. They both went above and beyond to help accommodate a smooth transition into Granite Gate. My parents love the care givers and the food is amazing. Tammy and Karen at the front desk are so welcoming and friendly. Michelle, Cynthia and Yattie have been working together to make sure all of the meds are taken care of in a timely manner. I am so pleased and impressed. Thank you to everyone at Granite Gate.
Granite Gate is an awesome senior living community. The staff is wonderful and caring. The facility is beautiful and clean. Highly recommended... Please speak to Dakota for more information on placing your loved ones here. She is the best and we love her dearly!
