I knew how loving and caring they were to my Mother so when I had to place my Sister I knew this would be the only place I would take her to live. I took care of both my Mother and my Sister for as long as I could but when you get to a point where it gets too physical and you are forced to make a very hard decision. If you are looking for a place for a loved one in need of care then this is the place. Karen and Brad Malucci took care of my Mother and recently I placed my Sister with them. I knew how loving and caring they were to my Mother so when I had to place my Sister I knew this would be the only place I would take her to live. I took care of both my Mother and my Sister for as long as I could but when you get to a point where it gets too physical and you are forced to make a very hard decision. This is the only place for your loved one to receive the phenomenal care they need. It feels so warm and homey. Karen and Brad are true Angels. God Bless Them!
The stay at Houston Creek started out wonderful and ended up very sad. My sister was evicted with a 30 day notice after being there just shy of a year. I’m not totally sure of the issue other than the owner didn’t like the sisters having as much access as they did. We have always been very involved in my sister‘s life/care to keep her safe. Maybe the owner has control issues. All I know is that my sister is very sweet and gets along with everyone. In fact, even the caregivers and the residents were very sad when she was leaving. The stay at Houston Creek started out wonderful and ended up very sad. My sister was evicted with a 30 day notice after being there just shy of a year. I’m not totally sure of the issue other than the owner didn’t like the sisters having as much access as they did. We have always been very involved in my sister‘s life/care to keep her safe. Maybe the owner has control issues. All I know is that my sister is very sweet and gets along with everyone. In fact, even the caregivers and the residents were very sad when she was leaving. This was a devastating move for my sister as she has dementia. Following the eviction notice, the owner stayed away from the home until my sister left, which should tell you something. There were even times that she made inappropriate comments to my sister. Being the owner, you should remain professional at all times. The home is a nice place small and even crowded but nice. Enough said not to cause further harm.

Our Mom has been a resident at Houston Creek Assisted Living for the past 6 years. She has received not only professional care from the owners but all their staff with a great dose of respect and love. The owners, Karen, and Brad Malucci follow all the rules and regulations from the State and health Department. Our Mom had lived in a previous facility prior to our moving here to Houston Creek Assisted Living, and this home far exceeded our expectations and prior experiences. Houston Creek became her home as it is treated as a home. It is always clean and decorated for all the holidays and different seasons and it is a joy to see this for the residents. Our Mom recently passed away and again she received loving care through this process from this staff and with Hospice assistance. Actually, 5 plus stars.

Houston Creek Assisted Living is a loving, caring home. As the daughter of a resident who spent her last few months of life with the wonderful care of the owner and staff, I couldn't have asked for a better place for my mother. The owner, Karen Malucci, truly cares for her residents and is always available for updates and answers to questions. With hands-on expertise and a loving heart, Karen provides not only excellent medical care but care for the residents' soul and well-being. 24-hour round the clock care is provided by Karen, her husband, and her excellent caring staff. My mother had lived in several homes prior to my moving her to Houston Creek Assisted Living, and this home far exceeded my expectations and prior experiences. The home is kept clean and is well decorated to create a down-home family atmosphere. The residents are happy, well-cared for and most of all, loved!!!! I highly recommend Houston Creek Assisted Living to anyone looking for the perfect, caring home for their loved one.
My mother was here for about 4 years. They are caring and try to arrange activities for the interests of each resident. Very homey. I visited most days so I observed all sorts of activity.
