I gave 4 stars to start strictly because the food . My adoptive mom is in the facility now and so far it has been a good experience. Our favorite nurse is Lupita. She is the greatest, she handles her patients with love and care and makes us feel like we matter . The daily ice cream is a bonus ,and the pt people Sarah ,Jonathan, Bri and Ty are awesome as well
Not please at all with the care my mom received here. My mom had to go to rehab after a fall in your independent living facility. She left NO better off then she entered. Prior to the fall (no broken bones or surgery needed) she was walking with a walker everywhere she went. A few things about the care center that just did not sit well with me. My mom got about 30-60 minutes of physical therapy. Outside of that she was not allowed to walk on her own and they would not walk with her due to staffing reasons. So...she basically spent 23 hours a day lying in bed or sitting in a chair. That does…
Not please at all with the care my mom received here. That does not sound like rehab to me at all. The staff in rehab were fantastic when they could spend the hour with her. The staff to patient ratios do not allow a very quick response when my mom needed something. Even something as simple as more water. They took her clothes to be washed and lost them...we looked everywhere for them. They did cover the cost of purchasing new clothes but still inexcusable. The food was typically delivered cold. They have a weekly menu but often they did not put new menus out by the dining area that I could pick up for my mom. It was VERY hard to get any updates from them and often to speak to someone I had to drive over there as calling typically did not get a response. I was over there often but there were times I had a question and I had to drive over to get an answer. On two occasions staff spilled food and in one case it took 5 hours to get it cleaned up and in the other case it was over a day even though we were told someone would be right in. She is now in assisted living and we have "in home" rehab coming and they have progressed her along. All in all, not a good experience when you think one should leave rehab in a better place than when they entered and that was not the case for my mom. There were some staff who were incredible and some that were definitely not therefore the poor rating but not a 1 star. I would caution anyone from using this facility.
For the most part, it was a great experience, but the person who made it a fantastic experience was Lupita!!! She’s typically a 2pm-6am CNA but she is one of the most fantastic women you could ever meet in your life!❤️
A few rotten apples really makes the whole facility look bad. Crying in tears several days in a row due to not getting your prescription for pain or to relieve your sickness... I dont want to be negative but do not place your family here, especially if they are incapable of advocating for them self. I teared up at the sweet old lady next door being ignored, as she slouched over and was too weak to pick her self up in the bed. They gave my mom a cough syrup which was not prescribed. After she stuck her finger in it they still gave it to the correct patient. Eww. When talking with staff they seem to not care only be there for the pay. They don't truly care for the well-being of the residents. Weekends and overnights are the worst when there's no administration present, they fail to meet basic standards. Now there were some really great CNAs. Front desk staff was amazing. I think it's time to weed out the bad apples.
My Auntie was treated very well. Staff was courteous, kind and supportive. The activities such as bingo, ice cream time and movie time were helpful for socialization and distraction. Carlos the case manager kept me in the “loop” which was much appreciated. All nurses and CNA’s were hospitable and attempted to meet her daily needs. This was a very good experience and I would recommend this facility.
This rehab facility has a great staff. We had the service of 2 nurses in particular that did an outstanding job. Amy was very pleasant and very efficient She could get stuff done. Lupita is very caring and is extremely sensitive to the resident’s needs. Es is a speech therapist who helped my wife a great deal. The rest of the staff did a great job.
I'd like to state how much I appreciated the care, kindness, & patience during my stay at this facility. They seemed to truly enjoy providing the care. Sorry, I don't remember names but would like to thank the woman who cleaned the room. She lifted my spirits with her funny gab & expressions of concern for me & my roommate. Also, her tennies were the coolest I've ever seen.
Great customer service, a beautiful building!
