She had been depressed and anxious at her last care facility (a large multi-story apartment home) as she wouldn’t leave her room and the caregivers rarely came by. At La Hacienda, mom has changed completely! The care here is amazing… she gets home cooked meals, lots of activities and personal interaction with [name removed], [name removed], and the other 4 residents. She’s finally happy again!
I could not have found a better Assisted Living facility for mom. The owner caregivers are very compassionate and do everything to give the best care to their 5 residents. They are very professional and keep the families informed. They have a great working relationship with various Hospices and do not hesitate to get their help/input when necessary. There are many activities including live music, entertainers, games, crafts, twice daily exercise programs, and a large covered and uncovered patio for outdoor time. I highly recommend La Hacienda Assisted Living in Tucson, Arizona.

This is a very intimate and small community. They provide a lot of individual attention to the residents. They have 5 residents and 2 caregivers. [names removed] are the ones who run the community. They are able to provide high level of care, it is almost like being in skilled nursing, if your loved one needs that type of care. They are currently providing medication management, hygiene care, and bathing assistance for my loved one. They will also provide hospice care if that is needed.
Go here! They are just really amazing. I have no complaints about them whatsoever. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The value is really great as well, better than other places we looked at.
La Hacienda was a big place. I like the fact she does activities with them. Gloria was a little hard to understand and we werent too thrilled about her visiting hours. She does not have any openings right now so this may not be an option
