The staff have been easy to work with and I am comfortable with the care they have provided her. She has had no problems with the meals and enjoys participating in some of the activities from time to time with the other residents. We have had a few minor issues but that is expected and we are working through them.
After having rocky start things have settled down. Moms quality of life has improved she is walking more socializing more with people who are her own age. She seems to be happier she really likes the staff here. They encourage her to do things to the point where they have assigned her another resident that needs a little extra help and that makes mom feel useful. They have a dentist come in once a month along with other doctors and visiting nurses to do blood pressure things like that. The food is good maybe a little too good mom is gaining some weight. They offer activities like exercise…

The house was clean, large and roomy. The home is near park where you can take your loved one. Quiet neighborhood. The emergency plans and other pertinent info was pinned to the wall, very visible. The bathrooms are decent sized with raised toilet seats and shower seats and handheld shower heads. The rooms are shared, two twin beds in each room, somewhat on the smaller side. The great room where the tv is, is large with recliners for the residents. There are three (3) caretakers 24/7 available. They do have home health teams tending to residents during the week days. The bathrooms are decent sized with raised toilet seats and shower seats and handheld shower heads. The rooms are shared, two twin beds in each room, somewhat on the smaller side. The great room where the tv is, is large with recliners for the residents. There are three (3) caretakers 24/7 available. They do have home health teams tending to residents during the week days. They have a strict plan regarding medications (locked cabinet, daily menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks), however I did not note an activities calendar. Visitors welcome every day from 10-6/open other hours with notice.

I was not impressed with this home. It was very dark and depressing.
I think this place would be good for my mom. It is a home with a max of 8 residents.
This is a beautiful home. They have been in business for 10 years. The house is average size . They have 8 residents. They have private and semi-private rooms with shared well equipped handicapped bathrooms with walk in showers. The bedrooms are good size with lots closet space and are sunny. There is a large living room/sitting room. There is an eating area and good sized kitchen. The food is all home cooked. It is very good with lots of variety, They provide 3 meals and snacks. The staff does all the laundry and housekeeping. There are live-in caregivers. 2 on staff days and one nights. They also have alternates if someone is gone or ill. The owner comes in daily to assist, visit with th residents, and does their hair. All are certified caregivers staff They have a primary doctor who comes in. They have an RN on call as needed. They have a nice park close by. They encourage lots of active stimulation. They do exercises and play games. They have a guitar player who comes in and other entertainment. There is a large walled in backyard with a patio and bbq. The yard is grassy and well kept. They have birthday parties, bbqs. and get togethers. Family is encouraged to participate in all outings and activities. They do transport the residents out for shopping. They take them to picnics, ball games, movies and other outings. The home is very clean. The residents seem very happy The staff are quite nice and caring. The owner is very involved and caring, I was very impressed with this home.
