Having your loved one in a nursing home is difficult. The questions you may have: does the staff care, will they take care of them etc. My family member stayed here and the care is phenomenal. The CNAs are the best. They dont need to be told what to do, they just do it, they care very much. Keeping residents clean, making sure they eat and they inform nurses of any change in residents condition. Nurses are great too. if staff needed help DON and ADON would assist with resident care any time needed. I worked there and its the best place for your loved one. The top priority is the resident. Having your loved one in a nursing home is difficult. The questions you may have: does the staff care, will they take care of them etc. My family member stayed here and the care is phenomenal. The CNAs are the best. They dont need to be told what to do, they just do it, they care very much. Keeping residents clean, making sure they eat and they inform nurses of any change in residents condition. Nurses are great too. if staff needed help DON and ADON would assist with resident care any time needed. I worked there and its the best place for your loved one. The top priority is the resident. You can rest knowing that your loved one is being taken care of.
My mother has lived at Lifestream SNF at Sun Ridge for over three years. She turns 103 within the next 4 weeks and I feel that without such a committed and caring staff, she would not have lived to such a ripe old age. You can trust this facility to take excellent care of your loved ones.

Brought mom to Lifestream. She has stayed here before for respite stays, so this was our choice for her longer term care as well. We have visited and considered others, but this is one of the best we have found. The staff, care givers, meals, and facility are all wonderful! Highly recommended.
Mother In Law was released from Barrows in need of a skilled nursing facility and extensive Physical/Occupational/Speech therapy. We first tried a place near her assisted living facility, but the care there was not good and she ended up back at Barrows. Upon her re-release, we placed her here at LifeStream and could not be happier with the care she is being given. The staff truly cares about each patient and treats them like their own family, but still manage to coax and cajole them into performing their therapy to help them improve. I can call or visit 24/7 with no notice and always find a clean, quiet facility and well-tended patients. Everyone from the receptionist to the admin staff to the medical staff has always been available to answer my questions - and if I leave a message, they DO call me back. My mother is in another LifeStream facility and also receives exceptional care. That greatly influenced our decision to place Mother In Law here.
I have been associated with LifeStream twice. Once for my husband and once for myself. Both of us had stays for several weeks. The care and compassion is unsurpassed. From the administrative staff to the physical care. Everyone involved with getting us well was wonderful. I would certainly recommend this facility. Although the facility needs some updating, the care, the most important thing, is wonderful.
Our loved one was at Lifestream at Sun Ridge for almost a year and we couldn’t have asked for a more caring staff. We visited several facilities before deciding on LifeStream. Right away we could feel the difference, from our initial phone call to the tour we felt like we were talking to friends. When it came to the end of our loved one’s journey LifeStream let us stay around the clock and moved her into an unused room so we could have more privacy. There are more beautiful facilities out there but there isn’t a more caring and kind staff.
Staff is outstanding! They saved my life when I relapsed. Medical staff, PT, Food Service and the administrative staff all took great care of me. We were very happy with this place.
