She kept talking about how wonderful the bartender Hector is, she introduced us to him and I could not believe how attentive and caring he was towards her. You could tell he really enjoyed looking after the people there and that he deeply cared for them. I was impressed with his professionalism! That restored my faith in how our elders could be taken care of in those establishments. Well done Hector!
The staff and activities have been great. The building has air conditioned hallways which is a plus. All the residents are very welcoming and soo happy. Overall I would say a great experience.
I have participated in several events at McDowell Village- from regular music performances (I'm the flute player in Meadowlark) to a recent 'Christmas in July' even where I offered my Children's Books. I've always found the residents to be contented and of good nature, which speaks volumes for the caregivers and management staff at McDowell Village. I look forward to returning soon for more interaction with this friendly group!

The staff is always helpful, professional, friendly, and welcoming, which gives a positive feeling from the moment you walk into the community. The property is consistently clean, well-maintained, and inviting. What really makes a difference is how engaging the community is, the staff does amazing work with hosting events and creating an uplifting environment for everyone.
I’ve had the pleasure of visiting McDowell Village Senior Living once a month as a vendor, and it’s always a positive experience. The staff are consistently welcoming, friendly, and genuinely engaged with our program, which makes every visit enjoyable. The residents are wonderful people and always a joy to interact with. The facility is consistently clean, well-maintained, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. It’s clear that the team takes pride in creating a caring environment for everyone who lives and visits there. I always look forward to coming back!
I just want everyone to know this wonderful place. The place is clean and the staff are extremely enjoyable. Activities keep you busy and are pleasant. The food is all you could expect. I definitely made the right choice by moving into McDowell Village.
I had dinner with a former neighbor and friend of mine at McDowell Village this evening. Everyone working in the dining area was pleasant and attentive. A special "shout out" to Martha N. for her upbeat energy, for being so friendly and personable, and for having such a great handshake!
