The office staff are friendly and helpful. The maintenance staff are prompt and thorough. The grounds are well cared for and the common areas are cleaned every day. The apartments are larger than the floor plans look like. The other residents are very friendly and there are activities for everyone. I've made several good friends.
The staff is kind, plus the ease with getting settled; the friendliness of the people already living here; the accessibility to grocery stores, restaurants, gas stations, recreational activities are all within a two mile radius. My one bedroom is perfect for me. They have 8 floor plans. Four each of 1 bedroom and 2 bedrooms.
It took us a while to get the house on the market but the building sales manager, [name removed] helped us do much. We have finally settled in and are really enjoying the community. I love baseball, we are very close to many spring trading facilities, including one outside our back door. Shopping is near, many things to see and do here or just hang out here, plenty to do here as well. I am working my way through the books in the buildings library. My wife likes to lay pickle ball, the court gets quite busy. I enjoy the movie nights and so many other community events. We get a new calendar of…

We get a new calendar of events each month, we can’t do them all but we’re giving it a go. We don’t have to go back east with the snow and cold, we’re staying right here with no requirements and all day to do them.
The apartment I had was spotless when I left. They withheld most of my deposit for routine cleaning. Do not send any seniors there!
We like everything, especially how clean it is and bright. The staff is amazing! It is bright, cheerful, and clean. The friendly staff and atmosphere is way better than other places considered.
Mera City Center is a 55+ community. It's not even assisted living or anything like that. It's completely independent living. It's an apartment complex. They are a brand new facility. The pool was nice because it had a ramp that you could literally walk into. If you had a hard time doing stairs, you could easily get into the pool. They had lanes for lap swimming. They had someone come in and do hot water aerobics. You had three different floorplans. There was a 1-bedroom, a 1-bedroom with a den, and then a 2-bedroom. We looked at the 1-bedroom with a den because it was just a lot more space. Everything was updated. You had stainless steel Samsung appliances, granite countertops, and brand new cabinetry. The price depended on what your backdoor was facing. If you were facing the courtyard that was a grassy area where the pool was, then you were going to pay a higher price than if your patio was facing towards the exterior of the building complex. The staff during the tour was wonderful. She answered all my parents' questions and told them everything that they needed to know. She was super patient. She didn't have another appointment after my parents, so she was able to sit and answer any questions that they had. They don't have a dining area because they're completely independent living, but you have a full kitchen. It's an apartment complex, but they have happy hour. They have an area where you can get free coffee. They put out bagels, toast, and oatmeal so you could take something. You can even reserve the kitchen area. They had a common kitchen area that was really nice. If you want to have a party, you could. They had a library, a puzzle area, games, poker, and Scrabble. They also had a golf simulator. There was a baseball and a basketball computer generated game.
Clean buildings and grounds, friendly community and environment, numerous age appropriate activities and weekly events which are written out in a monthly calendar format. The management staff are tremendous they are always available for any questions and concerns they are on it immediately. If independent living with community support is a goal in a pristine environment then look no further, this is the place for you.
Mera City Center is beautiful. I love it. It's the perfect spot for me. It has amenities for adults. It is very community oriented, and it is in a great location. It is very close by to all accessible medical offices and shopping areas. They have a common area where everybody can meet and greet. They have several common areas. They have one particular area where you can have breakfast or meals with people within the center. They have a fitness center and an entertainment area. Once a week, if they want to, they can come down and bring food to share with whoever is there. They have a calendar of events that take place for the month. They have a lot of opportunities. The staff is very receptive and very accessible.
