My mother has been at Starfish for 2 years and 2 months. Overall the experience has been excellent. I never worry about her safety or her being treated with respect. The staff is very compassionate and work to accommodate clients as much as they can. Mom's room is always clean and well stocked. Though the food is not to her liking, staff does try to find food that she enjoys and are quick to adjust what is being served to meet her requests when they can. We are able to bring food she likes and they will serve it to her. As a family member, communication with staff has been good overall. As my 91 year old mother is fond of saying, "I have no complaints."
Beautiful facility and ownership/staff that truly cares! Owned and operated by a highly experienced Nurse Practitioner specializing in Geriatrics. What more could you ask for! I'm happy that facilities like this exist where we can trust that our loved ones are being compassionately cared for.
Fantastic place. The staff takes such loving attention of my wife who has dementia. They exceed my expectations for memory care. My wife is happy, safe and cared for. I recommend this place highly.

Excellent care, home cooked food. Private bedroom and bathroom. Owners and staff are exceptional! Flower gardens and gazebo provide lovely area to visit. Personally viewed 15 plus care homes prior to selecting Starfish. Mother been at Starfish for over a year. Staffing ratio appropriate with management stepping in if additional help needed.
I called and asked to speak with the hr department or a supervisor and cynthia hung up on me twice! Not good
I am a non-emergency medical transport provider and have several clients who are residents at Starfish Village Care Homes. I have been in many of their resident buildings and they are always clean and orderly. The staff is very caring and considerate as well as friendly. I recommend Starfish Village to everyone who is looking for a care facility for their loved ones.
This is a gorgeous property that homes are immaculate. Caring staff and very engaged owners. I am with an outside agency that works with some of the patients on this property and have been there many times highly recommended.
We moved my brother in law into Starfish Village from Indiana. He was transported via medical transport and the everyone on staff was helpful and available for all questions and concerns. This is from the caregivers on up to the owner Kris. Although my brother in law was at the end of his life and was only at the facility 8 days, the staff was so kind and compassionate. They accurately assessed his needs and adjusted as needed. They were attentive to all his needs. He was well care for physically as well as emotionally. They were always available to give us updates and were open to our needs and wants. Thank you each and everyone of you for doing what you do. There is a special place in heaven for you all.
