The Physical Therapy here did very little for her. When she was sent home, she could barely walk, could not get up from a chair or the commode. They never even worked with her, other than walking. The food is not very tasty, and whatever the weekly schedule states is what you get. Had several meetings with dietician to set her meals, didn't work....she got what the weekly schedule showed. The facility is clean, the front desk personnel and nurses…

My SO spent 3 weeks here. When she came, she could barely walk, couldn't use her hands, and been bed ridden in a hospital for the prior 2 months. The Physical Therapy here did very little for her. When she was sent home, she could barely walk, could not get up from a chair or the commode. They never even worked with her, other than walking. The food is not very tasty, and whatever the weekly schedule states is what you get. Had several meetings with dietician to set her meals, didn't work....she got what the weekly schedule showed. The facility is clean, the front desk personnel and nurses are OK...Physical Therapy gets a very low grade. She is now in a Rehab Center in Surprise and they accomplished more within a week, then Sun West Choice did in 3 weeks. You might be better off looking for a better facility.
Great place!!! The staff really try hard to meet everyone's needs. The really do try hard. They have so many patients with a variety of needs. Administration needs to hire more staff to balance out and meet the amount of patients needs to the staff ratio. All of the staff are a Godsend especially Anna, Shantel, and Reggie. I gave them 4 stars because they need to hire more staff. Good place.

Do Not use this facility, our office called to ask a simple question if Sun West Choice serviced Wittmann AZ for a patient needing In house PT/OT and the rep who answered the phone listened to my question and then hung up. Have a Great Day!
