Our family was looking for the right place for my aunt, and we were referred to The Bluffs. On very short notice, we arrived at The Bluffs to meet with Kimberly Mattix. During a time when our family was feeling stressed and overwhelmed, Kimberly made everything feel calm and manageable. She was incredibly compassionate, empathetic, and attentive to our aunt’s needs and to what our family was looking for. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by all of the staff, which immediately helped me feel more at ease. Everyone was kind and caring, and it was clear that the residents well-being was a priority. Once my aunt arrived, the care she received from Alveena and Tamye reassured me that we had made the right choice. They were so attentive and caring toward my aunt, and I am truly grateful for the compassion they showed her. Bonnie was also such a delight. She went above and beyond to check on my aunt and continually reassured our family that she was in good hands. Her kindness and genuine care meant so much to us during such a difficult time. I also want to recognize Anastasia, one of the dining servers. She was so kind, friendly, and thoughtful. She remembered our family members and would check in to see how everyone was doing. Those small gestures meant so much to our family and made us feel seen and cared for. The Bluffs truly feels like a family-oriented and compassionate place. I am so thankful to Kimberly, Alveena, Tamye, Bonnie, Anastasia, and the entire staff for welcoming my aunt and treating her with such kindness, dignity, and care. Our family is so grateful to have found The Bluffs!

The Bluffs has been wonderful for my Mom! You know you're in a great place, when all of the Staff is always in a great mood, and ALL of the guests are happy to be there! It's not an easy transition for an elderly person used to living alone, to move into a retirement community. But everyone at the Bluffs is helping her be comfortable! Extra Kudos to Elizabeth, who brought my Mom flowers after her surgery, to check in how she was doing. Definitely a sweet gesture, and meant a LOT!

What a wonderful place this is! We were looking for a place to bring our 89 yr old mother to from Georgia so she can be closer to us and we are so glad we decided on The Bluffs. It came down to several things that made the decision for us but one that really sealed the deal was the staff we encountered during our initial visits. Kimberly Mattix (it blew our mind to meet her and find out we had the same last name but not related) was absolutely such a charm to work with! She did an excellent job of listening to us and helping us determine what would work best for our dear mother. When we had…

When we had questions during the decision process we could always call Kimberly and get the answers we needed to make our decision. Her attentiveness to the things most important to us made this a very pleasant experience! Other notable items that really helped to make our decision were the on-site physical therapy facility, the large number of daily activities available for residents, the food and dining options and the cleanliness and beauty of the entire campus! Flagstaff has several great options for assisted living facilities but The Bluffs was the clear winner for us after a fairly exhaustive search to find the perfect place for our dear mother!

I recently had the pleasure of touring this beautiful community with Elizabeth, and I was beyond impressed. From the moment I arrived, it was clear how much care and attention has gone into creating such a welcoming and vibrant environment. The facility is absolutely stunning, with incredible amenities including a library, billiards room, spa, salon, and on-site medical services. Every space was thoughtfully designed, clean, and inviting. What stood out most was the residents themselves. Everyone appeared happy, healthy, active, and genuinely engaged in the community. It was wonderful to see so many opportunities for socializing, wellness, and enrichment. Elizabeth was fantastic—knowledgeable, warm, and passionate about the community. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made the entire tour enjoyable and informative. If you’re looking for a place that offers comfort, care, and an exceptional quality of life, I highly recommend scheduling a tour. Five stars all the way!

We looked at almost 15 places and the Bluffs was far better than all in every possible way.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending several events at The Bluffs of Flagstaff, and each time I leave with such a positive impression. Elizabeth does an incredible job putting together events that are engaging, thoughtful, and truly bring the community together. What stands out to me the most is how happy the residents are. Every time I visit, they are cheerful, welcoming, and genuinely grateful to be living there. When I take the time to sit and talk with them, you can feel the sense of joy and connection they have not only with each other, but with the staff as well. These experiences have completely changed my perspective on senior living. I used to think of it very differently, but The Bluffs has shown me that it can be a vibrant, caring, and uplifting community where people truly thrive. I always look forward to coming back for the next event!

Enjoyed the last Poker night fun event very much - very well organised event and the event introduced us to The Bluffs. Great senior living facility that does have a feeling of home - loved it!

Elizabeth, the health fair coordinator helped me get my table set up. She was so kind and fun to talk to. She’s a great coordinator. She made us feel at home and a place we had don’t visit very often. She takes care of everybody and all the people that live there. She made this healthcare experience better and more fun.
