Vineyard Park Cottages has a beautiful courtyard, Wonderful staff, good food. You must visit this community to appreciate the beauty.

After touring several facilities, I chose this one for my loved one, and I am extremely happy with the decision. The environment is beautiful and stands out from most other memory care centers; it avoids a sterile, institutional feeling and actively promotes socialization. Meals are served in a pleasant, home-style dining setting. The admissions process was quick and easy, which was a relief during a difficult time. The leadership was also very accommodating with personal requests I made to help my loved one feel more at home. I visit daily and have consistently found the staff to be…

I visit daily and have consistently found the staff to be exceptional—their patience and dedication to memory care patients are truly remarkable. Knowing my loved one is so well cared for brings me great peace of mind. I am genuinely surprised this wonderful facility is not completely full with a long waiting list.

Great staff with Memory care Speialists.

They do not have enough help, and the help they get can not take care of a dog let alone a humane. They will not clip finger nail, so if a resident does not have family members coming in, nails look like a werewolf. Cloths: I have brought in and shoes, disappeare but other residents are not wearing them, so where are they? My dads roommate pees the bed and the room smells of urine. I told the nurse's to use my dads bed pads and I will bring more. I am sorry to be negative, I was in motorcycle accident and barely can take care of myself, so I had no choice but to put him in a facility. And, it is my dad's fault he is there and not in a better place, so I can not blame the Cottages for him being there.

Beautiful setting and great staff

This place should be closed down for good horrible management they don’t even treat residents and staff with respect and dignity

Excellent place! Highly recommended!

Beautiful, BUT… As the saying goes, “You can’t tell a book by its cover.” The Cottages is set up beautifully, the courtyard, the “cottages”, the concept, etc. However, That is where the beauty ends. I was there every day for a few weeks while a family member was a resident, so I have first hand knowledge. The caregiving was mixed. One caregiver in particular, Allie, stood out as loving, caring, and more than capable. We were always comfortable when Allie was working. Caregivers work 12 hour shifts, often without getting relief to take a break or to eat. There were very limited activities for the residents. Activities mostly centered around sitting in the main gathering room watching the TV. Activities and mental stimulation are important parts of memory care. The meals were another disappointment. The presentation and flavor was fair, at best. The residents were given one option. If that option was not to their liking, the substitute was lunch meat between 2 slices of white bread, with no sides. Overall, the general feeling is that The Cottages is cutting every corner and pinching every penny possible. I would NOT recommend placing a loved one at The Cottages. I find it interesting that one of the 5 star reviews was written by the executive director of The Cottages of Tucson.
