The staff at Arizona Homestead took amazing care of our Dad. While there, Brian and the team, became part of our extended family. We were so grateful that we found the right place not only for our dad, but also for the peace of mind that we gained by having Dad under their caring and watchful eye.

I highly recommend Arizona Homestead. My beloved mother lived there for almost two years. During that time, she literally thrived. The staff were incredibly caring and helpful in every way. “Couldn’t be better,” as my mother would very often say.

In the last year of my mother's life, I had her in three different assisted living facilities before finding Arizona Homestead. These facilities such as Siera Del Sol would promise me the world until her care became came too much. At that time they would give me a week or two to find and interview new facilities. It was as if they only wanted the easy residents that required little care. Thank God a pastor introduced us to Bryan at Arizona Homestead who promised me I would never have to move my mother again. They gave her the care and respect she deserved until she passed peacefully.

It was difficult to move my 90+ year-old mom from her independent-living apartment to assisted care when she broke her hip but Bryan and Susie Trask and their wonderful staff of dedicated — and long-term! — caregivers made the transition as smooth as possible. I knew it was the right place the moment I walked in the first time — lots of natural light, smiling faces, shiny clean floors, colorful homemade art on the walls and a band of well-trained professionals whose instinct is to say “yes” rather than thinking of reasons to say “no.” We’ve joked that they need to stick around long enough for my husband and me to move in when the time comes for us to need such tender, loving care. Miss you Liz and Mandi!

My mom spent her last year at Arizona Homestead and it was the best place we had found. She had been at 4 homes prior but Arizona Homestead's care was by far and away the best! They made my mom and my family feeling loved and cared for. I cannot recommend it enough!

I am in the medical profession for 38 years and have worked in hospital, nursing home and assistive care facilities and I am extremely pleased with the care my Father is currently receiving at this home. The last 6 months he has had the care any family member would want for there aging parents, all the way from compassion, respecting there dignity, to assisting with end of life needs. The owners and staff not only help my father with respect ,but I see the same care for all there residents. They support my needs when I cannot reach my Father via phone, they go above and beyond to ease my anxiety. I'm grateful for this warm/clean loving home. With much gratitude...

Happy 20th Anniversary Arizona Homestead! We are writing this review in honor of our mothers: Norma (Ocotillo House Resident 2018-2020) and Donna (18th Street House Resident 2020-2023). We would like to share a few memories we have while our moms were residents at Arizona Homestead. To start, we would like to say it gave us great comfort to interact with the owners, Bryan and Susie, on an almost daily basis. Bryan was usually working on the outside patio/adjoining the two houses. He also could be found doing inside remodeling, assisting staff with medications, covering the night shift at the houses, and blessing each resident with his singing and guitar playing skills. Susie could be found assisting staff in the kitchen, working on the interior design in each house, and meeting with families of prospective residents. This consistent contact instilled confidence that our moms were receiving the best attention and care possible. When Norma was at the Ocotillo House, she always enjoyed interacting with staff member Elizabeth who came into her room singing as she went about her caregiving. We also remember team member Mandi giving extra comfort to Norma while she was dealing with severe headaches and pain. These are just a couple examples of “above and beyond” care you can expect at Arizona Homestead! Continuing in the tradition, when Donna was at the 18th street house, we remember caregiver Michelle taking extra special time with Donna to encourage her showers when Donna did not want the water flowing on her face. Additionally, we remember team member Liz gently giving Donna breathing treatments when Donna was not feeling well. These are specific examples of the compassionate care loved ones receive at Arizona Homestead. They gave us confidence and comfort to know that our mothers were receiving the best possible care in a safe environment in the twilight of their lives. In summary, Arizona Homestead is so much more than beautiful homes, a relaxing patio garden, meaningful activities, delicious home-cooked meals, and lovely holiday decorations and celebrations. It is the hearts of Susie and Bryan and their loving staff of compassionate caregivers that should encourage you to select Arizona Homestead for your loved one. We are so glad we did this for our mothers, Norma and Donna. With Love, Sarah and Robert

Ever walk into a place and automatically felt at home? Well, this place is just that.. The grounds are beautiful & very well kept, the rooms are spacious and the atmosphere very uplifting. Not only is the staff amazing with the residents, but they also go the extra mile because they genuinely love their jobs. That I believe is due to the amazing owners who are very involved with everyday tasks. I would highly recommend this place if you have a loved one in need.
