Excellent care giving by staff. Very helpful in all aspects of a skilled nursing facility. Very clean facility. Excellent PT/OT technicians. 5 stars!!
The Lingenfelter Center is NOT A GOOD PLACE!! Most 5 star reviews are from staff at the request of management. No integrity at all.
We are extremely happy with The Lingenfelter Center for Alzheimer's Care - The Lingenfelter Center. I am happy that my husband got to go there. The thing that I like most is the staff, the CNAs, the nurses, and the doctors. The ones who deal directly with the residents are marvelous. I'm overjoyed with them. They're very respectful towards the residents. I don't know that there is anything that I don't like about them. It hasn't even been half a year yet, but so far, I'm very happy with everything. They're very respectful towards the residents. I don't know that there is anything that I don't like about them. It hasn't even been half a year yet, but so far, I'm very happy with everything. They're only for Alzheimer's. Right next door, just across the road, they have a place that's more of a nursing home. They have a beautiful kitchen area, and I've been there with my husband. He gets served three very good meals a day. If he doesn't like what they're serving, they have options that he can ask for, and they will cook it up for him. The one who heads the food gets in touch with you all the time. They're very good about checking on them with their meals. The ones who cannot feed themselves, they feed them. They make sure that they all eat. All three units have patios outdoors, very nice walkways, flowers, and bushes. They have a library. They have little rooms that even a visitor like me could go in, and I could take my husband to a separate room to visit with him. They have a very nice setup. They have a wonderful staff for recreation. I've gone to some of the things with my husband. They have a big TV, and they'll have movies and dancing. They play wonderful music for them. They have different ball-type games. They have therapy. They have tons of activities. The activities are wonderful, and every day they do something different with all of them. I think that my money is well worth it for the care that he gets and the attention that he gets. They're reasonable. We chose Lingenfelter for the rehab, but he did so well there that we looked into it and applied to have him stay there.
The lingenfelter is a wonderful facility to work for. I feel proud to be able to say I work here as a CNA. Our residents are amazing and truly this work is so rewarding at the end of the day. We are the ones taking care of loved ones in this stage of their life making sure they are comfortable, safe and secure. Our management team makes sure our work environment is a great place to come in and want to work. Great place to have your loved ones or to come along and be apart of our work team! ❤️
Inappropriate company that only cares about what they can benefit from it. Multiple rude comments made about my family member, and un explained bruises and cuts on them even saw the rudeness/comments such as their weight and "why can't they just go to the bathroom on their own". They did not care what I had to say when I brought up to the administration and HR department, That such CNA that made the comment. All to find out about that such CNA was related to one of the administration/ supervisors. Such a poor decision to put our loved one with dementia in such a high praise facility to just be verbally and mentally abused and nothing done. Just sad about the whole situation. Really thought it would be a wonderful fit for my loved one but sadly all I seen was its like a bunch of popular highschool kids that only care if you are in the click or not.
The Lingenfelter Center is overall a great place to work, the people are friendly, and the environment they provide for their residents is inspirational.
I struggled with the thought of placing my loved one in a facility for so long! I was worried they wouldnt be cared for. I am so relieved and happy I found The Lingenfelter center. My mother has been treated like family and truly cared for. Robynn has really taken hold of my family member and showed her the care they truly needed. My mother is clean, entertained, well fed, and mostly happy. Robynn and the staff have gone above and beyond in the care they provide! I would recommend this center to anyone! I am thinking of coming here when its my time!
I couldn't ask for a better place for my Dad's fight with dementia. Everyone treated him with nothing less than respect and dignity. Our family was there everyday during his journey and witnessed everything! I have nothing but gratitude for their service. Visit your loved ones, no matter their disease they need love too ❤️ !!!
