Program was fine management (Neil) on the other hand was power hungry told individuals not to get in no relationships and force people to pay not to do the car wash failure to do their car wash would result in you getting kicked out, Even if you had a job. Programs work only if you want it to work regardless of the manager. Just have to be tired of the same old crap. T.L.C only cares about the money if you don't have to go to place then don't. Fortunately their location is no longer up in operation in Tucson Arizona

I Would never recommend this Place to anyone! I went here and the manager named Neil is a full fledged racist! (I'm Black) Everytime he would see me he would call me Boy make racist Black jokes and whenever he wanted me to do something he would just snap his fingers and say clean that up Boy, wash this car Boy, Clean the Bathroom Boy! Constantly attacking my Humanity! I attempted to let my parole officer know that I can't be there for certain reasons as the stipulations of me Being at TLC were if I get kicked out I go back to Prison! She told me to just bare with it! Plus even though I had a job and was paying my rent Neil would come grab me and force me to do labor without no form of payment! All in All if one goes there you will have to do free labor, hear racist remarks, get treated like a dog, and Be threatened to be kicked out if you go against any of this! I do not recommend this to anybody! If you are truly trying to make it sober or if you were sent there do to parole or probation please find a different halfway house! If you look at the most of these reviews you can see for yourself that the majority are Bad reviews they are like that for a reason! Go to a place that values you as a Human Being! As this place does not! One shouldn't have to fake a smile and suffer through derogatory terms all because he was given the stipulations of either you stay here or you go back to prison! They do not have any functioning programs! You may sit in a circle for group meetings but nothing is spoken on! The staff who are ex prisoners themselves have no respect or morality for the next man!

I was there in the 90s and the staff would encourage you to get loaded and drunk. They would help you find work and then keep your paychecks claiming, its in savings until you leave, when you leave they kept your money. Straight dope phein move.

Lived here for 2 months back in 2012. Friendly staff. Good program. No complaints here.

I was kicked out by Niel in a temper tantrum for being late .I was put out on the street at 1140 pm and was knocked out and robbed at the bus stop and now I am in the hospital

My son went there seeking help, he has severe seizures associated with incontinence which offended the other clients so he was asked to leave. I think this borders on discrimination. I spoke with JOHN who explained this to me. If they are not there for the needy, then what are they there for? Don't they have counselors there who can redirect him as to what to do with his soiled clothing? I am going to consult a attorney if anything happens to him, as now he is homeless. I could post a picture of him after he banged his face on the concrete in a seizure but I do not want to further embarrass him . (He also has a drug problem which is why he sought help from them)

Neil forced me to go on a work ticket. So I go ,no problem, thinking I want to be a team player. Seriously! I throw up just a little at the job, and the foreman asked if I'm sick. I say no I'm fine. He calls Neal and says to replace me with someone else cause I threw up and the kick me out over it. The foreman even told them I said I was fine to work. Clean just under 2 months and giving it everything I got. These people do not care about anyone. Stay far away from this place. You've been warned. God bless.

T.L.C. (TERRIBLE, LIVING, CONDITIONS) THAT IS ALL I WISH TO SAY ABOUT THIS NO GOOD P.O.S. PLACE.
