I've witnessed how caring the staff are with the residents. The staff also exhibits great customer service with visitors, family members, and the community. Keep up the great work!
As a the owner of a senior placement agency in Tucson, I’ve had the pleasure of working with April and Tucson Gardens frequently. My clients always feel comfortable in this community, especially when speaking with their wonderful staff! If you’re looking for a quality memory care community, Tucson Gardens will exceed your expectations.
My mom has only been at this facility for a week (and I will update if needed), but so far, the experience has been a great one, including exchanges with administration. Special shout out to Anita, Wellness Nurse, who's on top of ensuring residents' safety and care and Duane, who is genuinely compassionate about meeting needs of residents. I moved my mom here from another facility that had more staff to resident ratio. Initially I was concerned about this but the care my mom receives exceeds the care she received at previous facility. I moved my mom here from another facility that had more staff to resident ratio. Initially I was concerned about this but the care my mom receives exceeds the care she received at previous facility. I do hope the company that now owns Tucson Gardens, Care Partners Senior Living, considers hiring more staff to ensure continued safety of residents, as well as in advocacy of their staff, who truly work hard!
The care given to my Mom is excellent here. She is very happy and is stimulated daily with activities. It’s so convenient to have medical staff available there and also a cosmetologist that does hair and nails. The courtyard is also a big perk, as it enables much outdoor time amongst the trees and flowers. We couldn’t be more satisfied and a sincere thanks to all the kind employees!
My wife is receiving good care. The caregivers are caring and attentive. The nursing staff is the gold standard
CarePartners took over Tucson Gardens Memory Care on July 1st, 2025 and unfortunately, our family had a terrible experience. I would encourage you to read the public AZ Department of Health Services, Health Care Facilities, Inspection Reports.
I'm giving this business two stars Strictly because the Care Givers and the caring staff who are still working there are still so wonderful and really trying their best! Care Partners needs to wake up!! It has been only a month since this new company took over this Memory Care facility and everything has started going down hill incredibly FAST! They have gotten rid of So Many of the staff, including care givers, housekeeping staff, plus several of the office and kitchen staff who were wonderful as well. Now they expect this to work with less than half of the people they had originally and the ones who are left are having to do the work of three people each day. I don't know how this company expects them to keep up! If they keep this business model, they are going to loose the wonderful people they still have working there, not to mention the residents who's families are getting Very Irritated with their care! This used to be one of The Best places to take a loved one who is living with Dementia or Alzheimer's. They used to have a good team of some of the best Care Givers, House Keepers/Laundry staff, Nursing Staff, Kitchen Staff, Grounds Keepers/Maintenance people, Activities Coordinators, and Office Staff I have dealt with. Every One Of Them appeared to Care about the residents there, and the care givers had time to get to know the residents and their quirks and how to deal with them. Unless things change drastically within the next few months, I would not recommend this place as "one of the best" any longer.
Was visiting with one of my long time best friends today . All I can say is this place and the staff here are fantastic !
